If you about to lift weights your muscles need to be ready for it. Some cross the body and triceps stretching isn't going to cut it ❌

There isn't anything particularly wrong with those stretches but they don't prepare you to complete a bench press, shoulder press, or frankly any movement. 😐

Try simulating the movements you are going to complete with some gentle resistance bands or body weight controlled exercises. Go a few rounds through a super set of movements like this until you break a sweat. It's a much better option βœ…

When we move first thing in the morning we are "priming" our joints, muscles and spine for the daily stressors we will face throughout the day. This also initiates our nervous system to allow our brain and body to work in unison to start your day off feeling ready to take on the world

Most injuries are caused by a simple mismatch between loading and a persons capacity to deal with that given load.
