As we move from this year to the next, I wanted to share a beautiful piece of wisdom my Quran class teacher shared with us. We often express gratitude for the external blessings in our lives, but how often do we pause to thank Allah for the *internal* resources He has blessed us with?

He reminded us of these inner blessings:
• Iman — our faith itself.
• The presence of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ within our hearts and lives, and paying gratitude by sending blessings upon him with love and thankfulness.
• The ability to do good deeds — the tawfiq and motivation Allah grants us.
• The peace we feel within, moment by moment.
• The acceptance of Allah within us and around us, and the countless small miracles we experience because of Him.

For me, this reflection was deeply moving and eye-opening, and I wanted to share it with you all as we prepare to welcome the New Year. Let us notice the vastness of external and internal blessings, that Allah has made us abundant with, as we choose to ask for more of each in the coming time.

Hey everyone, it’s officially wedding season! As we all know, there are so many weddings happening around us, but have you ever noticed how some weddings make you genuinely excited to get dressed from the heart, while others feel more like just showing up out of obligation?

I experienced this so clearly yesterday at a mayoun I attended. I was so happy from the inside that even getting ready felt joyful and special. It made me realize how deeply our emotions shape our experiences.

Do you ever feel the same way? I’d love to hear your experiences.

Your chakras are the portals of your energy.
When they flow, you shine.
When they’re blocked, you feel stuck.
Balance them and watch your life shift.✨

Feeling drained? Your energy is telling you something… let’s decode it.🔮

1. You’re absorbing others’ emotions.
If you’re sensitive or empathic, your nervous system picks up stress, sadness, or tension from people around you.
2. You have no energetic boundaries.
Saying “yes” when you’re exhausted, not protecting your peace, or constantly being available drains your aura.
3. Your Chakras are blocked or imbalanced.
A blocked heart, sacral, or solar plexus chakra can create fatigue, heaviness, and emotional overwhelm.
4. You’re holding unprocessed emotions.
Repressed feelings pile up and eventually turn into energetic heaviness — your mind may forget but your energy doesn’t.
6. You don’t have grounding practices.
Without grounding — like deep breathing, Reiki, meditation, or mindful presence — energy becomes scattered.

Yoga is the simplest form of exercise. I remember reading this statement long before I ever started practicing. Today, after years of practice and teaching, I was reminded of just how true it is. Despite feeling extremely lazy, a friend encouraged me to do some yoga. She asked, “What’s the simplest pose in yoga?” My teacher’s mind immediately answered, “Sukhasana.” She smiled and said, “Let’s start with that.”

That moment reminded me of yin yoga, often called “lazy yoga.” It feels simple, yet the benefits are profound. I flowed through a sequence starting with Sukhasana, then Vajrasana, reclining Vajrasana, butterfly, cow face, twisted sphinx, pigeon (with a downward dog transition), and finally ending with a supported bridge and supported fish. What began as a simple start unfolded into forty minutes of practice that felt both effortless and deeply nourishing.

By the end, my body was glowing with happiness. And it struck me—this is exactly how life works. At first, something may feel difficult or heavy. But when we approach it with ease, it becomes lighter, smoother, almost natural. The choice is always ours: do we meet life with stress, or do we allow it to be easy.
