Gospel Crusaders – Pakistan Project Proposal
If you light a single candle, it will provide some light. But if you add more candles with it, the light can become as bright as the day. In the same way, one Christian in your church can be a light in the community. But if you put other Christians and their churches together, Jesus said we become the "light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). By ourselves we are seen as partisan, out for our own end. But together in a crusade we have a united front as the body of Christ to a watching world. Luis Palau said, "United mass crusades tell the nation that we have a common core of biblical faith that binds us in love both to Jesus Christ and to one another. And that love makes a powerful impression. 'By this all men will know that you are my disciples,' Jesus said, 'if you love one another' (John 13:35)." By ourselves we do not have the financial resources or contacts to make an impact for Christ in this land. By ourselves we could never get the attention of the community and its leaders. But in a crusade people become God-conscious, asking questions about life, death, and the church. By ourselves we could not communicate the gospel truth to these multitudes. But in a crusade people who are searching for God come out from hidden corners. All of society is touched by a crusade, from the professionals and highly educated to the "untouchables" and homeless. Even the indifferent youth are attracted. A crusade sows the seed of the Word of God and reaps where others have sown. The many commitments and decisions made affect neighbors, friends, the church, and loved ones. Over and over again it has been proven that crusade evangelism helps the church and the community. Crusade evangelism accomplishes what the local church alone cannot do. Gospel Crusades Project Summary:
1. Project Name: Gospel Crusaders – Pakistan Project
2. Place: Pakistan
3. Vision: To reach out to 30,000 Souls in the unreached areas in one year by organizing Mass-Evangelistic Crusades in different locations [especially in the unreached villages of Pakistan]
4. Mission: To accomplish the great commission by reaching the largest unreached nation of Pakistan for Jesus Christ.
5. Short Summary of the Ministry Project:
Since Pakistan falls under the category of 10/40 widow, there is such an urgency to reach out to the unreached people of this land. As I mentioned above, Crusades or Mass – Evangelistic Crusades will play an important role to promote the message of the gospel to the lost souls in this nation where 95% population is Muslim. In this project, we will organize Revival Crusade/Mass-Evangelistic Crusade on monthly basis to reach out to over/about 2500-3000 souls every month. We will choose a venue [mostly a village] and will advertise and campaign the whole month in the neighboring villages and locations about the crusade and invite people to come in the tent or at the venue of the crusade. We will also transport people [if it is needed] from other villages and small towns to the venue of the crusade. If we conduct a crusade to reach out to about/over2500-3000 people every month, we will be able to achieve our goal of reaching out to about 30,000 souls in one year.
6. Our Strategy:
To organize Mass-Evangelistic Crusades in different unreached locations [especially in villages] from region to region, city to city, province to province, and throughout Pakistan.
7. The Cost:
As you know, that funds will be required to do so and to bring this vision into reality. The total cost to organize a "Monthly Revival Crusade" to gather together over/about 2500-3000 people at one place will be about 2000 US$ every month. As the number of partners will increase we will be able to expand the vision as well and will conduct the bigger crusades or will increase the number of crusades accordingly.
8. Our Needs:
a. Financial Assistance on regular basis
b. Spiritual Covering [guidance] to accomplish God given vision to reach out to 30,000 Souls in one year. Time to time visitation from our Covering Pastor/Pastors
