Dr. Amjad Ali Khan — Ex-YDAIN, former President YDA LRH, and honorable MNA from Swat — paid an important and high-profile visit to Services Hospital Lahore today. His arrival was warmly welcomed by the senior leadership of YDA Punjab and YDA SHL.
Leading the reception was Dr. Salman Haseeb Ch. (Patron-in-Chief YDA Punjab), whose dynamic leadership and unwavering dedication to doctors’ rights played a central role in organizing this impactful interaction. Dr. Salman Haseeb, along with Ch. Dr. Mudassir Nawaz Ashrafi (Chairman YDA Punjab), personally briefed Dr. Amjad on key challenges faced by young doctors across the province.
Among the notable attendees were Dr. Zeeshan Lashari (President YDA SHL), Dr. Babar Bhatti (General Secretary YDA SHL), Dr. Junaid (Vice President YDA SHL), Dr. Rizwan Asghar(Vice President YDA SHL), Dr. Irfan Bajwa(Vice President YDA SHL), Dr. Tayyab, and the entire YDA SHL cabinet.
During the visit, Dr. Hafiz Rafiqat Gujjar (President FMGs) also met Dr. Amjad Ali Khan and appreciated his continuous advocacy for healthcare reforms, improved service structures, and transparency in policymaking.
A comprehensive discussion was held focusing on service structure, postings and transfers, security issues, formulary gaps, delays in salaries and allowances, and necessary improvements in the CIP policy. The leadership agreed that unified efforts and collective representation are essential for long-term solutions.
Dr. Amjad Ali Khan gave special attention to each matter raised, acknowledging the tireless struggle of doctors led by Dr. Salman Haseeb Ch. He assured that he would continue playing an active role at all influential platforms, engaging the highest authorities to secure fair policies, strengthen the health system, and support young doctors’ legitimate demands.
