Alhamdulillah, the first official meeting of the Pakistan Pharmacists Association (PPA) kpk was conducted under supersion of President Bakht karam ghafoor successfully, marking a significant and historic step forward for the pharmacy profession in Pakistan.

This inaugural meeting laid a strong foundation for unity, professional integrity, and a shared vision to uplift the standards of pharmacy practice, education, and research across the country. Key matters related to organizational structure, future strategies, professional challenges, and opportunities for pharmacists were discussed in a constructive and collaborative environment.May this first meeting serve as the beginning of a progressive journey toward professional empowerment, national collaboration, and excellence in pharmaceutical services.

πŸŽ‰ Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) Week – 2025 Seminar Successfully Concluded!

The Young Pharmacist Community (YPC), AWKUM successfully conducted the Seminar on Antimicrobial Resistance today at the Department of Pharmacy. The session was hosted by Ms. Tayyaba Iftikhar, who led the program with great confidence and grace.

We were honored to have Professor Salimullah Khan, Dean of Chemical & Life Sciences, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added immense value to the event.
Professor Omar Shehzad, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, also joined the seminar and appreciated the efforts of YPC.

Our distinguished speakers delivered insightful talks on the rising global threat of antimicrobial resistance and emphasized the critical role of pharmacists in combating AMR.

A highly insightful YPC Grand Jirga was convened at the Pashto Culture Museum of Peshawar University, focusing on the newly approved Pharmacy Service Policy. The event featured comprehensive discussions by Pharmacy professionals, raised awareness about the newly approved Pharmacy services policy and garnered valuable input from attendees.
