Our COO, Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Ansari, walked the participants through the strategic importance of clinical privileging—showing how a system often viewed as paperwork can actually drive excellence, optimize responsibilities, and elevate patient outcomes.
What stood out most was the collective agreement that privileging cannot remain a checkbox activity. It directly influences patient safety, and the session helped everyone see the role they play in keeping the process strong and transparent.
By the end of the session, teams aligned on updating the privilege lists, strengthening competency matrices, and making proctoring a more structured part of our annual reviews.
A productive and eye-opening discussion — and a step toward a safer, more accountable privileging system at BIH.
