CEREMONY
NID Multan Annual Dinner was successfully evented on 21st November 2025.
OUR SPECIAL GUESTS were VC NMU Prof. Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani and Chairman sports committee NMU Prof. Dr Masood ur rauf Hiraj.
Worthy Principal NID Prof. Dr. Zubair Hassan Awaisi and Chairman Sports Committee NID Prof. Dr. Muhammad Waheed Tahir along with MS NID DR. Tariq Hameed welcomed them.
Various Performances of Singing and Skits from all four BDS classes were permormed on stage.
All faculty of NID were present there and enjoyed the event.
Associate Prof. Dr. Asif Nazir, Associate Prof. Dr. Amjad Bari, Assistant Prof Dr. Rauf, Asst Prof Dr. Rabia Safdar Khan and all sports committee members were there.
Event started with the name of ALLAH with beautiful tilawat and NAAT and then welcomed CHIEF guests at the venue. Students performed Singing, dance and skits with short videos of spweek 2k25. At the end Shields and awards were distributed amont the students by VCNMU, Prof. Hiraj, Principalo NID Prof Waheed, Assoc Prof Asif nazir, Assoc Prof Dr. Amjad Bari, MS NID Dr. Tariq Hameed and othewr guests and at the end Dinner at the avenue.

A mock exercise and drill regarding fire safety was conducted today Friday 21-11-2025 at Nishtar Institute of Dentistry by Rescue 1122 officials for training of whole NID staff and Doctors.

The activity was organized by NID administration under leadership of worthy Principal Prof Dr Zubair Awaisi and Medical Superintendent Dr Tariq Hameed in collaboration with RESCUE 1122 Multan officials.

Whole staff, doctors and paramedics attended the mock exercise with full zeal and zest to ensure safety and quick response in case of any future unfortunate incident.

Opening Ceremony was held at nishtar institute of dentistry on November 19, 2025.
Theme walk of all four bds classes with their presentatons were being performed at the quadrangle NID.
Our Guest of Honour was Prof. Dr. Masood ur rauf Hiraj with our worthy Principal Prof Dr. Zubair Hassan Awaisi and Chairman sports committee NID Prof Dr. Waheed Tahir, Ex- Principal NID Assoc. Prof Dr. Amjad Bari, Assoc. Prof Dr. Asif Nazir and Admin Registrar OMFS Dr. Mazhar Rasool.

Cricket Day of NID sportsweek 2k25. 🏏
The Event was Graced by the presence of Chairman sports committee NMU Prof. Dr. Masood Hiraj along with worthy Principal NID Prof. Dr. Zubair Hassan Awaisi and Prof. Dr. Waheed Tahir Chairman sports committee NID.
Respected Guests admired the spirit of students in these games and distributed prizes among the winners.

There held a cake cutting ceremony with all the above mentioned faculty with Mr. ali Raza ( Students Sports secretary Final Year NID ) and Mis. Minahil ( Students Sports Coordinator NID ) and their team.
There Held a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at Badminton Court of NID to Start a Kickoff Match.
A special startup match between Principal Prof Dr. Zubair Awaisi, Assoc Professor Dr. Asif Nazir and MS NID Dr. Tariq Hameed and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Waheed Tahir was Held.
Qualifying martches are hereby started from today and will be continued till the end of Sports week.
All four BDS Classes of NID are much energetic and eager to provide epic matches.
Opening Ceremony will be hald on 19th of November 2025 and
Sports week will be closed on 21st of November 2025.

IMPLANTOLOGY Workshop was successfully conducted at Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Multan on 25-26th September 2025, for PGRs and House Officers of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

The event was organized by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Waheed Tahir and senior faculty members including Associate Professor Dr. Asif Nazir, Associate Professor Dr Saima Munir, Consultants Dr. Sohail Fareed, Dr Raza Zahid, Dr Fishan Ali, Dr. Shaheen Anjum, Dr. Nouman Mustafa, Dr. Fahad Khaliq with the Special College Guests Respected Principal Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Dr. Zubair Hassan Awaisi and MS Nishtar Institute of Dentistry Dr. Tariq Hameed.Lectures were given by Prof. Dr Waheed Tahir and Assoc. Prof Dr. Asif Nazir.

Participants received Lectures on Armamentarium on Implantology and Hands-on training on implant planning, surgical techniques, impression techniques and prosthesis. Most importantly every participant was given a chance to place implant on models by himself.Certificates of Participation were also distributed among the participants of Workshop.

Such initiatives play a pivotal role in strengthening the professional readiness of young healthcare providers to act decisively when every second counts.
