Historic Day for Tertiary Care Hospital Nishtar-II, Multan
Today marked the first official visit of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) inspection team to Tertiary Care Hospital Nishtar-II, Multan, led by Medical Superintendent Syed Fakhar Abbas Shah, for the evaluation of postgraduate training programmes.
The visiting team conducted inspection of approximately 37 postgraduate programmes across multiple specialties. During the visit, the delegation reviewed the hospital’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern medical equipment, availability of essential medicines, patient care facilities, and overall standards of cleanliness and organization.
The team appreciated the remarkable facilities and the high standard of services being provided, noting that Nishtar-II represents a significant benchmark for modern public sector healthcare institutions.
This milestone reflects the collective efforts of the administration, faculty, doctors, nurses, and supporting staff, whose dedication continues to strengthen healthcare and medical education in South Punjab.
