15 اکتوبر کو سفید چھڑی کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر نارووال میں سپیشل ایجوکیشن سنٹر اور انکلوسیو ایجوکیشن کمپلیکس کے زیرِ اہتمام ایک تقریب منعقد ہوئی، جس میں ڈپٹی کمشنر سید حسن رضا نے بطور مہمان خصوصی شرکت کی۔ تقریب میں پرنسپل ماریہ صدف، ڈائریکٹر حافظ امیر محمد، ڈی آئی احسان الحق، محمد عثمان، عبدلشکور چاند اور دیگر موجود تھے۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر نے خصوصی بچوں کے ساتھ شفقت سے وقت گزارا اور ان کی حوصلہ افزائی کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ خصوصی بچے معاشرے کا اہم حصہ ہیں اور ان کی تعلیم و تربیت کے لیے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز خصوصی توجہ دے رہی ہیں۔ تقریب میں بینائی سے محروم بچوں میں سفید چھڑیاں تقسیم کی گئیں اور آگاہی ریلی بھی نکالی گئی۔
