In a recent statement released by the Baloch Society of North America, the organization's head, Dr. Wahid Baloch, has called on the US, Israel and India for help.
The organization, which claims to be strive for the preservation of "the Baloch secular identity, language, culture and traditions in North America through organized events", has long been accused of lobbying among US Congressmen and other government officials for a independent country of Balochistan, free from P**istani and Iranian state control.
In the past, Dr. Baloch has been participating in a host of seminars which discuss Baloch issues in the US. He has also met several senior American government officials including US Vice President Joseph Biden and former CIA chief Leon Panetta. Sources monitoring the BSO-NA and similar groups' activities say that Dr. Baloch is an Indian intelligence asset who is handled by a section officer from the Embassy of India in Washington D.C.
Dr. Baloch graduated from the Bolan Medical College (University of Balochistan) in 1990 and went into self-exile in the US in 1992. He is currently based in Jacksonville, Florida but is regularly seen networking with influential officials in the US government, military and intelligence in a variety of seminars and conferences, most of which have nothing to do with Balochistan or its issues.
His recent statement, published by an Indian blog on 25 January 2014, alleges that the P**istan armed forces and its secret agencies are planning a "Sri Lankan style anti-Tamil massive military operation" in Balochistan. Nowhere have any references been given to these allegations, similar to previous releases in which Dr. Baloch has time and again promoted concocted disinformation and propaganda, rather than even slightly credible appeals.
In his new statement, some notable claims of Dr. Baloch's "key elements" of the military operation allegedly planned by P**istan include:
"The Operation will be carried out throughout Balochistan, but mostly it will be focused in Mekran, where most Sarmachaars (The Baloch freedom Fighters) are active" (TX Comment: P**istani Coast Guard and Frontier Corps officials have been frequently targeted along the Makran coastline by miscreant, separatist Baloch militiamen. The Frontier Corps' Mekran Scouts are primarily tasked for dealing with such militants).
"It is learnt that the Chinese and Sari-Lankan commandos will also join P**i forces to help them carry out their offensive against the Baloch Freedom Fighters. Let's not forget that the China and P**istan army played a key role in crushing the Tamil rebellion in Sri Lanka by supplying weapons to Sri Lankan Government. P**istan has already given the control of Balochistan's strategically located key port of Gwadar to China and China wants to remove any Baloch opposition to P**istan-China military strategic plans for Gwadar" (TX Comment: The unfounded linking of China and Sri Lanka with Gwadar in specific and Balochistan in general has long been an Indian cause of concern which is based on assumptions and fabricated intelligence rather than fact or evidence. P**istan has indeed asked China to manage Gwadar but nowhere has the state asked Chinese or Sri Lankan "commandos" to take part in anti-terrorist operations or, for that matter, routine security patrolling. We can assume this is simply copy-pasted from amusing Indian Military Intelligence reports whose past credibility is well-acknowledged within India too).
Following is an appeal by Dr. Baloch at the end of his statement, please note the underlined portions of his words (emphasis mine):
"Baloch Society of North America alert and appeal to the UNO, Obama Administration, State of Israel and Indian Government to not let this massacre and genocidal plan be carried out by P**istani terrorist army against the freedom fighting secular Baloch people, the very true friends, ally and strategic assets of the US, India, State of Israel and of civilized world against the Islamic Extremists and Chinese expansion in the region. Because, if Balochs are killed and their struggle for freedom and justice is crushed, the Islamic extremists and Terrorists of P**istan and Iran will win and they will turn Balochistan into another safe heaven for their terrorist activities against the US, India, State of Israel and the civilized world."
Dr. Baloch has, on his part and on behalf of the BSO-NA, admitted that they are "strategic assets" of the US, Israel and India against "Islamic extremists" (P**istan and Iran, according to their view) and also against "Chinese expansion in the region".
