Federalites Blood Donation Society, under supervision of Dr Farwa sijeel and in collaboration with Pakistan Sweet Home organized awareness seminar regarding heamophila in MCH auditorium of PIMS, Islamabad . The event featured Dr Ali Miraj, Brig. Prof Nuzhat Mushahid, Dr Lubna Zafar and Dr Ambreen Khalid . The speakers highlighted the importance of early intervention and discussed the different treatment options available for mental health conditions. They stressed the need for a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, which involves a combination of therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes. It was such educational and insightful event.

World Hemophilia Day is observed on April 17th every year to raise awareness about hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Hemophilia is a genetic disorder that affects the blood's ability to clot, leading to prolonged bleeding and other complications. This day is an opportunity to educate the public, health professionals, and policymakers about the challenges faced by people living with hemophilia and to advocate for better care and support for them. It is also a time to honor those who have lost their lives to hemophilia and to celebrate the strength and resilience of the hemophilia community.

Blood Donation Camp at Federal Medical and Dental College, Islamabad.

Federalites Blood Donation Society, under the patronage of Dr Touqeer Ahmed and in collaboration with The Blood Heroes raised awareness regarding Thalassemia and blood donations via Jamila Sultana Foundation in Federal Medical College and School of Dentistry, Islamabad. The students in both campuses were briefed about Thalassemia Screening and Importance of Blood Donation. They were educated about convincing parents and raising awareness. Moreover, the students were screened via Blood CP free of cost and those who were willing to donate blood were encouraged. About 40+ donations were raised and more than 100+ students were screened.

FSWS (BDW wing) is arranging a blood camp primarily engraved with the motive to encourage youth to donate blood that may help humanity in need and aid in bringing smile on innocent faces.
