World COPD Day – FFH Sargodha
Today, Fauji Foundation Hospital Sargodha observed World COPD Day to raise awareness about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease — a condition that affects millions worldwide but can be prevented and managed with timely care.
During the session, our medical team highlighted:
🔹 Common causes — smoking, pollution, biomass exposure
🔹 Symptoms — chronic cough, breathlessness, wheezing
🔹 Early diagnosis — importance of lung function tests
🔹 Management — inhalers, lifestyle changes, avoiding triggers
🔹 Prevention — staying active, vaccination, smoke-free environment
The goal of this awareness activity was to educate patients and attendants about recognizing early signs, seeking timely medical help, and improving quality of life.
FFH Sargodha remains committed to promoting lung health and ensuring better respiratory care for our community. 💙🫁
