پاکستانی ماوں کا پسندیدہ ترین مشغلہ: بچوں کا سر بنانا

جیسے ہی آپ ماں بنیں گی آپکی امی، ساس، خالہ، پھوپھو، تائی، چاچی اور ہر رشتہ دار خاتون آپکو ایک مشورہ ضرور دیگی اور وہ ہے بچے کا سر کیسے بنایا جائے۔
ان مشوروں میں بچے کے سر کو آگے پیچھے سے دبانا، بچے کے سر کے نیچے گتا، لکڑی، پلیٹ یا کوئی سخت چیز رکھنا۔ گردن کو اسطرح رکھنا کہ سر بالکل سیدھا رہے، خاص تکیوں کا استعمال، سر پر اینٹ رکھنا تک شامل ہیں۔
جو عورت سر بنانے میں بہت expert مانی جائے گی اور اپنی کامیابی کے قصے سناتی نظر آئیگی اسکے بچے(جو کہ اب بڑا ہو چکا ہوگا) کا سر ایک بار غور سے دیکھیں۔ اسکا سر پیچھے سے سیدھا ہو گا جیسا اس تصویر میں left میں دکھایا گیا ہے جو کہ بالکل بھی نارمل نہیں ہے۔
سر کا اس طرح سیدھا ہوجانا Flat head syndrome کہلاتا ہے۔ جو کہ پاکستانی ماوں کے مطابق ایک achievement ہے۔ دراصل ایک abnormal کنڈیشن ہے۔ سر کی ایک سطح کو بالکل سیدھا کر دینا اور ہڈی کی ساخت کو تبدیل کر دینا سراسر غلط ہے۔ flat head syndrome کے بچوں میں

● باریکی کے کام (یعنی fine motor skills)
●زبان کا استعمال( یعنی Language development)
● فہم و فراست ( یعنی cognitive skills)
● جذباتیات (یعنی emotional intelligence)
میں کمی آسکتی ہے۔
سب میں نہیں ہوتا لیکن ایسا ہونا ممکن ہے اور ایسے بہت سے کیسز رپورٹ بھی ہوئے ہیں۔

تو پھر سر بنانے کیلئے کیا کرنا چاہیے؟؟

تو اسکا جواب ہے کہ بچے کو سکون سے جینے دیں۔ کچھ بھی مت کریں۔ بچے کو کبھی کروٹ اور کبھی سیدھا سلائیں سر کو ایک جگہ پہ fix نہ رکھیں تاکہ وہ کسی بھی جگہ سے flat نہ ہو جائے اور سر کی ہڈی کو اپنی اصلی شکل اختیار کرنے دیں جو کی گول ہے۔
اور سر بنانے کا مشورہ دینے والوں کا مشورہ ایک کان سے سن کر دوسرے کان سے نکال دیں۔

پاکستان میں اس وقت وائرس کے پھیلاو اور ٹیسٹوں کی محدود تعداد کے باوجود آنے والے اعداوشمار اس بات کو ظاہر کر رھے ہیں کہ یہ وائرس زیادہ تر افراد پر بغیر علامات کے ہے یعنی پازیٹیو آنے والے افراد کی بڑی تعداد کو بھی کوئی ظاہری علامت مثلا نزلہ زکام ، ھلکا سا بخار یا سانس میں تھوڑی سی بھی رکاوٹ نہیں۔ یہ بہت خوش آئند ہے۔پہلے سے موجود قوت مدافعت وائرس کے نقصان پہنچانے کے عمل کو انتہائی محدود رکھنے میں کامیاب رہی ہے۔ اس لیے خوف کو اب کم کیا جانا چاہیے۔ جن کی رپورٹس پازیٹیو ہیں وہ بتائے گئے طریقے سے دوسروں سے علیحدہ رھیں ۔ ہم سب ان کے لیے دعا گو ہیں ۔ اللہ کا شکر ادا کرنا چاہیے کہ پاکستان میں اکثریت قوت مدافعت رکھتی ہے۔ بس بتائی گئی احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کریں ۔ سوشل ڈسٹینسگ ، ماسک کا استعمال، ذاتی صفائی اس وائرس کے پھیلاو کی رفتار کو کم رکھنے کا بہترین عمل ثابت ہوئی ہے۔
