Thinking, "I love my boyfriend so much but is he right for me?" Here's how to find out:

Ask for people's opinions
I'm not saying that you should base your whole relationship on what other people say, but people who you are close to can sometimes tell you if your relationship is dysfunctional better than anyone else.

It might be hard to hear something like this but these people care for you and hopefully will give you their honest opinion. Getting a second or third opinion is just one thing that can give you an idea if the person you are dating is right for you.

Be mindful when you're together
Another way to get a sense as to whether your boyfriend is right for you is by being mindful when you are together. Pay attention to how you speak to each other. How does he make you feel? Do you argue a lot or does he do everything he can to keep you happy and make you laugh?

Think of your ideal relationship and how you want your boyfriend to treat you. Is this it?

Talk to a counsellor
Talking to a counsellor is another way that you can find out whether your relationship is a healthy one. As an added advantage, a professional counsellor will be impartial compared to people you know and can give you a fresh perspective on your situation.

Have a conversation with your boyfriend
Talking to your boyfriend about your doubts, if you are comfortable doing so, is a great way to be open about where your relationship is. Who knows, maybe your boyfriend is wondering the same thing?

If you aren't sure that you are right together as a couple, an open conversation might help you discover that you are better off being friends or being apart. These questions could also potentially lead you both to commit more to the relationship. You'll never know if you don't try.

Be honest with yourself
Most important out of all the advice here, just be honest with yourself. It's hard, but you only have one life and you know deep down if your boyfriend is the right guy for you. If you are not sure, then, it is not fair to string him along.
