It's taken me a while to decide about writing about this. Yesterday I met a woman who was suicidal. She felt unloved and uncared for. She was about 45 years old, and had thought all her life that she wasn't pretty enough to be loved. I grew quite sad listening to her story. She was under the impression that you had to be good looking to be loved. All her life she has fought with weight issues, and even though she was actually quite thin, she imagined she was fat. She had suddenly realised she was growing old, and couldn't face life growing old , getting wrinkles, and fatter, and being alone and just wanted to end it all , before she got there. It's such a sad indictment of today's society. That we think we have to look a certain way to be loved. All I could do was sit and listen and try to encourage her that life was worth living, no matter what. Because in one sudden moment everything can change. I hope she survives , and finds the special someone we all need to be loved. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤ take care of each other is my message of the day.
