Dear Candidates,

A few important reminders from our Admissions Team:

1) We'd like to remind you about the required documents which you must upload to your Candidate's profile in our on-line enrolment system. Many of your applications are still missing some of the required documents, which are crucial for us to evaluate your applications.

The sooner your applications are complete, the quicker we will be able to invite you to the entrance exam!

2) Some of our e-mails and messages appear to get lost in the mailing. Unfortunately, the messages and notifications sent from the MUG to the Gmail domain can sometimes get lost. Please, check your "spam" folders - especially if you have been invited to the entrance exam, and you believe that you have not received the link to the on-line entrance exam.
Please, send us a message as soon as possible if you suspect that a message has been lost!

3) Please, do not send us the scans of documents via e-mail. Our on-line enrolment system is equipped with the "Attachments" section, where you can keep all of your scans in one place.

And the last week went like this!

Last Wednesday, on June 5th, our Premedical Course participants took their last ever exam of the course!

Our graduates excellently conquered the extensive questions at the oral exam, and can now enjoy their well-deserved summer holidays, before they come back as the first-year M.D students in late Septemeber.

Congratulations to each and every one of you, for your hard work, devotion, and immense passion for knowledge. Good luck next year!

And the weekend went like this!

Last Friday and Saturday, between the 15th and 16th of March, our Polish and English Admission Teams combined forces to present the Medical University of Gdańsk at the International Education Fair - Perspektywy.

We'd like to thank each and every one of you for stopping by, chatting with us, and for your immense interest in our University.
It was a pleasure to get to know all of you - to hear about your stories, dreams, and to chat about the Medical University of Gdańsk.

We hope that we'll see most of you as our Students - this year, or in the nearest future.

Each year in Poland, the 23rd of February is a day for spreading mental health awareness and su***de prevention.

Depression has various faces. It manifests not only as persistent sadness, with which it is usually associated, but also as a lack of interest in activities that used to bring us the most pleasure. Some of its most common symptoms include lack of energy, sleep disturbances and lethargy, as well as anxiety, feelings of guilt, loss of self-worth, and even a sense of purposelessness.

Those afflicted may be plagued by suicidal thoughts, sometimes leading to su***de attempts and completed su***des. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that over 700,000 people worldwide commit su***de every year.

Please remember that if you feel like the world is too heavy, and that there is no way out; or if you notice the symptoms of depression in somebody else - it is okay to ask for help. You are not alone, you are not your thoughts. Depression is a sneaky demon, a one which you do not have to fight by yourself.

Students of the International Master in Sustainable Drug Discovery - S-Disco and 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐬+ students came to the Medical University of Gdańsk where they will spend the second semester of their studies.

To get to know our University better, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, they are visiting the main campus and the campus of the Faculty of Pharmacy and participatig in many interesting lectures.
On Monday students met representatives of the University and Faculty’s authorities - Vice-Rector for Science 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚ł 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐮𝐬𝐳𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐤𝐢, Vice-Rector for the Quality of Teaching 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥. 𝐀𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐳𝐤𝐚 𝐙𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐳 𝐖𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟.
