Last night, the Empire State Building lit up in the colors of the Polish flag - and the illumination was officially launched by Robert Lewandowski himself.
The white and red glow washed over the Manhattan skyline like a ribbon of Polish pride pinned to the night.

Moments like this remind us how far Polish stories have travelled and how deeply our heritage continues to shine across the world.

For those of you with ancestors who emigrated to the United States, this is a beautiful symbol of connection: past and present meeting high above the city that never sleeps.

1️⃣ Święconka - on Holy Saturday, Poles bring baskets filled with food to the church, which will be consumed during the festive breakfast. The baskets contain items such as eggs, sausage, bread, salt, and horseradish.
