Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are at the heart of the CSS culture. Throughout the year, we continuously launch initiatives that promote the many dimensions of DE&I, including gender equity, culture, ethnicity and nationality, age and life stages, LGBT+ and allies, and diverse abilities.

Recently, we hosted an engaging session titled “Break the Patterns”, an interactive experience designed to help participants distinguish between myths and facts about people with disabilities. Through a fun and insightful game, we explored how to create truly inclusive workplaces where everyone feels valued and part of the team.😊

The session was led by Agata Robińska and Mariusz Sprus, experts in education and the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace. A heartfelt thank you to them for sharing their knowledge and experience!👏 Thanks to their insights, our employees are now better equipped to challenge stereotypes and break taboos surrounding disability employment.

To add a touch of friendly competition, the fastest and most accurate participants received book prizes!📕🏆
But in truth, we all came out as winners, learning through play, broadening our perspectives, and reinforcing our commitment to inclusion.💚

Today marks the spookiest day of the year, when witches, ghosts, and mysterious creatures wander among us. As tradition has it, people do their costumes and eerie makeup to blend in with the monsters…👻

As the sun set and the lights dimmed, our office transformed into a haunted haven filled with laughter, creepy decorations, and plenty of spirits — both the ghostly and the Carlsberg kind!🍻 Because a Halloween bar wouldn’t be complete without a touch of competition, we hosted a Best Costume Contest, where creativity and imagination truly came back from the dead!🧛‍♂️

But beyond the ghosts, great atmosphere, and Carlsberg beers, this evening at CSS was about more than just Halloween — it was about connection. These moments of laughter and fun help us see the people behind the projects, strengthen our bonds, and keep our company culture alive (and hauntingly well)! 💀✨

As October comes to an end, so does the CSS 6-month Internship Programme. This year, 16 talented interns joined our teams, bringing fresh energy, curiosity, and tons of new ideas.

For many trainees, this was their first opportunity to work within an international organization, and we’re delighted that they chose Carlsberg Shared Services to take that step. They got to experience what it means to work with a diverse team in a modern hybrid workplace, all while building valuable hard and soft skills.😊

Last week, we wrapped things up with a special celebration event at our office, where each intern had a chance to share what they’ve learned, what they enjoyed most, and how they’ve grown. From mastering SAP and Power BI to developing teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills - it’s safe to say they made the most of every opportunity.

We’re especially happy to hear that most of our trainees loved the team atmosphere and the people they worked with, because our company culture isn’t just words on paper. It’s something our employees live and share every day, and it’s wonderful to know that our interns had the chance to truly experience it. After all, it’s our People and our culture that make CSS so special.💚

A huge thank you to all our trainees for their energy, engagement, and creativity - and to all mentors and teams for guiding them along the way. We can’t wait to see where their journeys take them next!✨

At Carlsberg Shared Services, we care deeply about the health and well-being of our employees. Working in a shared services environment means many of us spend 8 hours a day in front of a computer screen, and our eyesight can sometimes pay the price.

That’s why, together with Medicover Polska, we recently organized a series of initiatives dedicated to eye health:
✨ An online webinar “What you should know about eyesight” led by an certified optometrist, where we explored the importance of vision in everyday life.
✨ Free eye screenings by certified optometrists to check vision quality and provide individual guidance.
✨ Personal styling consultations with a professional stylist, helping CSS employees find frames that best match their face shape and style.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and effort of Natalia Lemanowicz and Paulina Dykier – thank you both for taking care of our health and making this initiative happen! 🙌

Continuing to share the sports side of Carlsberg Shared Services, we’re excited to announce another fantastic achievement by our colleagues!

Earlier this month, our team, consisting of Jacek Politowicz, Adrian Szymczak, Dawid Kubiak, Jan Wiśniewski, Michał Puzio, Patryk Domagała, and Przemysław Król, proudly represented us in the 20th Carlsberg Cup Tournament, competing against 7 strong teams.⚽️

It was an intense rivalry, but thanks to true team spirit, strong alignment on the field, and unstoppable support, our colleagues secured a well-deserved 3rd place! 🥉👏
We’re also especially proud of our colleague Dawid Kubiak, who was recognized as the tournament’s Top Scorer! Kudos to you, Dawid!

A huge thank you goes to all the team captains and players for their dedication, commitment and for turning this event into not just a competition, but a celebration of fun and team-building. 💪

At Carlsberg Shared Services, we believe that wellbeing and team spirit go hand in hand.

That’s why we love seeing initiatives coming directly from our People, and one fantastic example is the weekly volleyball classes organized by our colleague Rafał Chojnowski. Thanks to his energy and passion, a group of our employees gathered every week, not only to train their skills but also to share moments of fun, connection, and teamwork. 🏐

All that practice paid off last Friday, when our team proudly represented us at the 2nd ABSL Poznań Volleyball Tournament. And guess what? We did it – our team took first place!🥇
It was a tough competition with many great teams from local companies such as ADM Poland, Conectys, B. Braun Business Services Poland, FRANKLIN TEMPLETON Investments, Newell Brands, Sii, Capgemini, DFDS Polska, PSI Polska, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and determination shown by our colleagues.

A huge thank you and kudos to Alicja Czerner, Paweł Bąk, Andrzej Wegiel, Dominik Miloch, Bartosz Witkowski, Filip Grzebalski, Maksym Artiukhov, Joshua Milley, Mikołaj Krawczyk, and Rafał Chojnowski for bringing their best to the court.🙌

This victory is not just about the trophy - it’s a reminder of what we can achieve when we support each other, grow together, and play as one team.💚

This week, we wrapped up our summer yoga series at Carlsberg Shared Services with the final session led by our wonderful colleague, Patrycja Gebicka.🧘‍♀️✨

From energizing mornings in the meeting rooms to peaceful stretches under the open sky on our rooftop terrace, these sessions brought us calm, balance, and a chance to recharge during busy workdays.

Patrycja’s passion, dedication, and warmth made yoga not only a healthy practice but also a truly enjoyable experience for everyone who joined. We are grateful for the time and energy she shared with us – thank you, Patrycja! 💚

A big thank you also goes to Adam Zemler, who captured the final rooftop session with stunning drone shots, allowing us to relive the atmosphere from a whole new perspective.🎥

Every year, on the first Friday of August, people all around the world raise their glasses to celebrate International Beer Day, a global event dedicated to appreciating the craft of brewing, enjoying the taste of beer in all its varieties, and, most importantly, bringing people together. 😎

Last Thursday, our office transformed into a lively pub as we came together to celebrate the occasion in true CSS style! The evening kicked off with a pub quiz, where teams tested their knowledge of all things beer – from brewing traditions to fun trivia. Meanwhile, two skilled bartenders worked their magic, serving up creative, beautiful, and delicious beer cocktails. 🍺

In one corner, colleagues lined up for Beer Pong, trying their best, while nearby, the “Beer Bottle Cap Race” drew plenty of smiles and cheers. One of the highlights was the chance to see real laboratory samples of the ingredients that make brewing possible. It was a unique peek behind the curtain, connecting our celebration with the craft and science behind beer.

But what truly made the night special wasn’t just the games or the drinks – it was our People. Surrounded by colleagues, friends, and plenty of good vibes, the event was a perfect reminder of how much fun we can have together outside of our daily work. ☺️

At Carlsberg Shared Services, we’re always looking for ways to support the wellbeing of our People and help them maintain a healthy work-life balance. With our move to a new office space, a wonderful opportunity arose to start the workday with a boost of energy and mindfulness.

🧘‍♀️Thanks to our amazing colleague Patrycja Gebicka, who is passionate about yoga and wellbeing, we now have regular sessions open to everyone who wants to practice. Her eagerness, openness, and dedication have truly inspired us. Thank you, Patrycja!💚

When the weather is beautiful, we take our mats to the rooftop for a refreshing start under the sky. On colder or rainy days, our meeting rooms transform into peaceful yoga spaces.

Happy International Beer Day!🍻

Celebrated every first Friday of August, this global holiday was founded by bar owner Jesse Avshalomov, who chose this sunny time of year to honor beer. What started in 2007 in Santa Cruz, California, quickly evolved into a worldwide celebration, spanning 207 cities across 80 countries on six continents!

So what’s this day all about?
🎉 Sharing beer with friends, especially ones from other cultures.
🍺 Tasting unique, new, or rare brews.
🌍 Uniting the world under the banner of beer.
