CEMS Club Warsaw CEMS Club Warsaw is a student organization providing support for CEMS Master in International Management Program at Warsaw School of Economics.

CEMS Club Warsaw is a students’ organisation at Warsaw School of Economics, which gathers students, who currently participate in CEMS Master in International Management Programme and the prospective students of this programme. As one of the largest students’ communities at Warsaw School of Economics CEMS Club Warsaw is also engaged in many different business initiatives. CEMS Club Warsaw is formed by outperforming and ambitious students, whose aim is to develop themselves and shape the surrounding reality. Our recruitment process is created to pick candidates with widely demanded traits of character like courteousness, stubbornness, diligent and positive thinking. What is more we look for extra-ordinary interests, hobbies and values, which in our opinion distinguishes average person from a unique one. CEMS Club gathers active students and graduates of the program, as well as those who wish to participate in CEMS MIM program in the near future. CEMS Club Warsaw supports integration of academic and business environment and has helped many corporations in their promotional activities at Warsaw School of Economics. CEMS Club Warsaw is also well known for organizing huge scale projects focusing on knowledge sharing and employer branding. Its initiatives are held in different formulas and cover different industries of business:

A Week to Remember! ✨
Our CEMSies kicked off the semester with an amazing Welcome Week full of new experiences, great food, and unforgettable moments in Warsaw.

🎳 Tuesday
Right after the Welcome Meeting, we headed to the bowling alley to break the ice and get to know each other better. Later that evening, we joined the Silent Disco at SGH, where we even had the chance to take a picture with the Rector, dr hab. Piotr Wachowiak, prof. SGH – a moment we won’t forget!

🥟 Wednesday
We enjoyed a Polish dinner featuring pierogi and other local dishes, giving our international students a taste of authentic Polish flavors.

🍜 Thursday
On Thursday we visited a well-known Asian restaurant loved by SGH students. Of course, we had to try the restaurant’s bestseller – the famous turkey cutlet dish, which definitely lived up to the hype.

🎤 Friday
To end the week on a musical note, we gathered at a nearby bar for a Karaoke evening.

⛸️ Saturday
We wrapped up the Welcome Week in a truly Warsaw style – ice skating at the rink in front of the iconic Palace of Culture and Science. For some it was their very first time on ice, but everyone did great and we had lots of fun celebrating the last day of February together.

From 20-22 February, we gathered in Falenty, near Warsaw, to kick off the journey with our new cohort. The three days were filled with learning, teamwork and plenty of opportunities to get to know each other better ✨📚

We started on Friday with the first official introduction of the cohort. Through activities like Human Bingo and team challenges connected to the Sustainable Development Goals and the GCS objectives, everyone quickly got involved and the groups began building strong connections. The day ended with a friendly competition and awards for the most successful team 🏆

On Saturday we had the pleasure of hosting a guest speaker from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics. Later, we visited the nearby Palace and in the evening continued the integration with games and informal time together.

Sunday brought another inspiring talk, this time from a guest speaker representing PKN ORLEN. After a final group photo, we headed back to Warsaw with great memories and new connections 📸

Thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend such a great start for the cohort. Looking forward to what comes next! 🌟

The CEMS Club Presidents’ Conference was a great opportunity to bring together CEMS Club leaders from across the globe. It was a space for open discussions, sharing best practices, and setting common priorities for the months ahead.

On February 24th, we officially kicked off the CEMS MIM semester at SGH! ✨

The Welcome Meeting opened with a speech by Vice-Rector for International Relations, dr hab. Jacek Prokop, prof. SGH, who warmly welcomed the new cohort and marked the beginning of the semester.

The CEMS Office then shared key organisational information for the upcoming months, followed by SGH gift packs 🎁 for our students.

We also introduced the CEMS Club Warsaw Board structure, the MIM Board, and the Student Board Representative, giving everyone an overview of the community behind the programme.

The meeting concluded with a group picture 📸 - marking the start of an exciting journey ahead.

CCW Gala 2026

What a night to remember! 💫 This year’s Gala once again proved that CEMS Club Warsaw is more than just a community - it’s a place where passion, teamwork, and friendships come together.

We began the evening with a ceremonial part full of gratitude and appreciation. It was a moment to recognize the incredible efforts of our coordinators, teammates, and the entire outgoing Board, whose commitment shaped this year’s success. At the same time, we proudly welcomed the new Board - a team ready to lead CCW into its next chapter with fresh ideas and energy 🚀

We were also honored to welcome Grzegorz Augustyniak, CEMS Programme Manager, whose inspiring words highlighted the achievements of the departing Board. His presence made this moment even more special and meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to our alumni and partners for their constant support, trust, and engagement - your involvement helps our community grow stronger every year. We are also deeply grateful to every CCW member who contributes their time, passion, and ideas to make this organization thrive 💙

On December 12th, our CEMS MIM students had the incredible opportunity to sharpen their negotiation skills during a specialized training session with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield 🏙️🎓

The session was led by Irmina Opala-Sołtysik, Director of Leasing, who shared her extensive expertise and provided a deep dive into the unique dynamics of the real estate sector 👩‍💼💼

Key takeaways from the session:
- Understanding the unique levers and challenges of negotiating in the global real estate sector 🌍📈
- Moving beyond the textbook by solving complex, industry-inspired scenarios that tested our students’ tactical thinking 🧠🤝

In October our CEMS MIM cohort participated in the BCSS Seminar: Presentation Skills with Professor Jacek Miroński 👨‍🏫🎓
The workshop focused on mastering the art of delivering professional and persuasive presentations, both in-person and online. Students gained hands-on experience in:
🔹 Crafting compelling arguments to meet audience needs.
🔹 Utilizing digital and live tools for maximum impact.
🔹 Developing a confident, professional presence on any stage.
