Sylwia Ciałek is a Research & Development Specialist at Healthcanna. A proud alumnus of Wrocław University of Life Sciences, she specialized in biotechnology and displayed keen interest in cannabinoids. This passion was ignited while she was engrossed in her engineering thesis, which explored the novel concept of microbial CBD production within yeast cells.

🌍 Sylwia's commitment to global learning is evident. Twice, she ventured through the Erasmus program, granting her the privilege of academic exposure at Ort Bradue College in Israel and a hands-on internship experience at the renowned CNIC in Madrid. These international endeavors enriched her expertise in cell biology and molecular biology.

👨🏻‍🔬 Radosław Gniłka, PhD is the Director of R&D at Healthcann. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Life Sciences in Wroclaw, Department of Chemistry, and is an expert in the chemical and microbiological transformation of natural compounds to enhance their biological activity.

🔬 He has 5 years of experience in the nutraceutical and functional food industry, where he was involved in quality control and product launches on domestic and foreign markets. His chapter at tukasiewicz-PORT stands out, marked by dynamic research on innovative green solvent technology from PLA waste. Later, as head of the Spectroscopic and Chemical Research Laboratory, he tried to bridge the complex worlds of science and business.

📈 At Healthcann, as head of R&D, he focuses on achieving the objectives set out in the milestones of the acquired R&D projects. He sees the research and development phase as an intermediate stage that culminates in a finished product available on the market. He has strong analytical skills and uses modern data science tools in his work.

🚲 Outside the lab, he's an avid cycling enthusiast - passionately journeying on lengthy bicycle trips. His intellectual curiosities include climate change, quantum physics and green chemistry, particularly deeply eutectic solvents.

🎓Paweł Mituła, PhD is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Healthcann. Trained as a biotechnologist and chemist ,he earned his PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław.

🧪Before his tenure at Healthcann, Paweł served in significant roles at Synthos and PCC Rokita, notable entities in the chemical industry. During his time at Synthos, he was responsible for the development of liposomal technology, a critical component in the drug delivery sector. His roles varied from Research & Development Specialist to Project Coordinator , thereby acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the sector. He played a key role in the creation of new product portfolios and ensured a successful transition from laboratory-scale to high-volume commercial production.

🔬Paweł also coordinated advanced biotechnological projects at companies such as Skotan and PureBiologics. Here, he led the development of innovative bacteriophage encapsulation systems, designed to combat the ever-growing issue of multidrug-resistant bacteria.

🤝Besides Healthcann, Mituła and our CEO Grzegorz co-founded Sovigo, a firm focused on creating precise drug delivery systems to improve care for patients, particularly those with gastrointestinal diseases.

🌎As the CTO at Healthcann, Paweł spearheads the company's technological vision and oversees project portfolio management. His expertise in chemical synthesis, process scaling, and process engineering is pivotal in transforming Healthcann's innovative ideas into market-ready solutions.
