Last Friday, HIC’s IT Department and Digital Solutions team hosted a programming and innovation session with students from the Computerized Information Systems Department at the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce.

Students are currently developing projects focused on Nonconformities, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and IT Compliance, while incorporating AI techniques aligned with best practices and security standards.

Congratulations to Dr. Augusto “Gus” Sepulveda on being named Chief Medical Officer for the St. Luke’s Health Houston Market and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. 🎉

A proud moment for Ponce. Dr. Sepulveda earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees from Ponce Health Sciences University and completed his internal medicine residency at Hospital Damas in Ponce.
