1. Where are you from?
Rincón, PR 🌊
2. What does yoga mean to you?
Everything. Yoga has taught me discipline, helped me with emotional regulation, and restored hope. I have been in a very challenging educational and career path for the past 8 years. Diving deeper into the yogic practice and philosophy has allowed me to reconnect with my roots and Inner Self, which felt lost to me during that time. My practice is something I cherish every single day.
3. What are a few words you would use to describe your teaching style?
Gentle, slow, and controlled! I try to base my teaching style off of my authentic self. I'm not a high-energy person, so I prefer to offer my students a class based on my strengths: quietness, stillness, and genuine connection. 🤍
4. Outside of the mat, what are some things you enjoy doing?
I love a good coffee/matcha + sweet treat run! Preferably I would have these by the beach, where I could enjoy sunbathing and snorkeling afterwards.
5. Fun fact!
I love reading and researching in my spare time. Right now I'm reading the complete works of Carl Jung. I also love reading published research papers on different topics, as well as articles on Subtack. 🤗
6. What’s your current class schedule?
Thursdays @ 6pm
Saturdays @ 7am
Sundays @ 7am and 9am
