About the Role:
In partnership with our Perioperative Director, the PACU RN Manager will create a shared vision and foster ongoing quality improvement in post-anesthesia care delivery. This role provides 24/7 leadership for the PACU, ensuring outstanding patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, effective team management, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and organize PACU nursing staff to deliver exceptional care.
Collaborate on strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives aligned with the hospital’s mission and vision.
Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards, policies, and procedures.
Manage resources, supplies, equipment, and budget within the department.
Promote a positive team culture with physicians, staff, and patients.
Direct daily PACU operations and facilitate open communication.
Mentor staff and directly supervise nursing students as required.

Qualifications:
Current RN license, State of Florida
Leadership experience in PACU or perioperative setting preferred
