شركة توزيع كهرباء محافظات غزة تطلق خدمة تأهيل واعتماد المواد الكهربائية (GCA) لرفع ثقة السوق ودعم جاهزية الإعمار
أعلنت شركة توزيع كهرباء محافظات غزة اليوم الأحد 29 مارس 2026م، عن إطلاق خدمة تأهيل واعتماد المواد الكهربائية (GCA)، كخدمة فنية متخصصة تهدف إلى ضمان جودة وسلامة وموثوقية المواد المستخدمة في شبكات التوزيع والطاقة المتجددة، ورفع مستوى الثقة بالمنتجات الكهربائية المحلية والدولية، بما يواكب متطلبات إعادة إعمار قطاع الكهرباء في غزة وفق أعلى المعايير المعتمدة.
وتستهدف الخدمة المصانع والشركات والمصنّعين والموردين العاملين في قطاع الكهرباء، إضافة إلى الجهات المعنية بالحصول على اعتماد النوع، حيث توفر هذه الخدمة إطارًا مهنيًا محكمًا للفحص والتدقيق الفني وإجراء الاختبارات اللازمة على الأجهزة والمواد الكهربائية الموردة (التأهيل الخاص)، وصولًا إلى إصدار شهادات اعتماد تستند إلى مواصفات دولية معترف بها، بما يعزز جاهزية المنتجات للمشاركة في المناقصات ويفتح أمامها آفاقًا أوسع في مشاريع إعادة إعمار البنية التحتية لقطاع توزيع الكهرباء بغزة.

GEDCO has Launched Electrical Materials Qualification and Certification Service (GCA) to Boost Market Confidence and Support Reconstruction Readiness

GEDCO has announced on Sunday, March 29, 2026, the launch of its Electrical Materials Qualification and Certification Service (GCA) ; technical service to ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of materials that will be used in the electricity distribution network and renewable energy systems. The initiative also aims to enhance confidence in both local and international electrical products, to meet the requirements for rebuilding Gaza’s electricity sector according to the highest recognized standards.
The service targets factories, companies, manufacturers, and suppliers operating in the electricity sector, in addition to entities seeking type approval. It provides a robust professional framework for technical inspection, assessment, and testing of electrical equipment and materials submitted for assessment (special qualification). This process leads to the issuance of certificates based on internationally recognized standards, thereby enhancing product readiness to participate in tenders and opening broader opportunities in infrastructure reconstruction projects for Gaza’s electricity distribution sector.
The GCA service is not limited to qualifying and certifying materials and equipment; it also includes granting general qualification certificates to contractors, factories, and companies operating in the electricity sector. This ensures that they possess the necessary technical and organizational capabilities, as well as quality requirements, to execute electrical works and projects in accordance with approved standards, strengthening their reliability as acting partners in the upcoming reconstruction phase.

GEDCo Reaches Out to the Families of Its Martyrs During Eid Al-Fitr

On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company (GEDCo) embodied the values of loyalty and gratitude by carrying out a series of holiday visits to the families of its martyrs. The initiative was organized by the Public Relations and Media Unit in cooperation with the company’s branches across all governorates.
These visits—conducted during the Eid holiday—carried heartfelt messages of appreciation, as company delegations conveyed the greetings of the GEDCo family and checked on the well-being of the families. The meetings were marked by a warm humanitarian atmosphere that reflected a deep sense of belonging and solidarity, especially in light of the challenging circumstances.
The company affirmed that maintaining continuous communication with the families of its martyrs is a tribute to the sacrifices of their sons, who fulfilled their national duty with dedication and sincerity. بإمكانياتٍ محلية وجهودٍ ذاتية، أعادت شركة توزيع الكهرباء بالتعاون مع مولدات العبادلة إنارة جزء من شارع الرشيد في مواصي خانيونس، عبر تركيب كشافات على امتداد الطريق من ميناء القرارة شمالًا حتى منطقة أطباء بلا حدود.
وساهم المشروع في إنهاء العتمة وتعزيز الأمان في واحدة من أكثر مناطق المواصي الشمالية حيوية، بما يسهل حركة المواطنين وينعكس إيجابًا على حياتهم اليومية والنشاط التجاري في المنطقة.
From Darkness to Light… Street Lighting Revives Al-Rasheed Road in Mawasi Khan Younis
With local capabilities and self-driven efforts, GEDCo, in cooperation with Al-Abadla Generators, has restored lighting to a section of Al-Rasheed Road in Mawasi Khan Younis by installing streetlights along the road, extending from Al-Qarara Port in the north to the Doctors Without Borders area.
The project has helped eliminate darkness and enhance public safety in one of the most vibrant areas of northern Mawasi, facilitating residents’ movement and positively impacting daily life and commercial activity in the area

على وقع العاصفة… طواقم كهرباء غزة تستجيب لنداء النازحين في محافظة خانيونس

استجابةً لمناشدات الأهالي، نفّذت طواقم كهرباء غزة تدخلًا ميدانيًا عاجلًا في منطقتي العطار وفش فرش بمحافظة خانيونس، لإزالة ونقل شبكات وأعمدة كهربائية متضررة كانت تُشكّل خطرًا داهمًا على المواطنين والنازحين، لا سيما في ظل تأثيرات المنخفض الجوي الحالي.
ويأتي هذا التدخل في إطار جهود حماية السكان وخيامهم من مخاطر مباشرة ناجمة عن تضرر البنية التحتية لقطاع توزيع الكهرباء بفعل العدوان، إلى جانب شح الإمكانيات المتاحة.
وتواصل الطواقم الفنية عملها في ظروف ميدانية بالغة الصعوبة، سعيًا للحد من المخاطر وتعزيز السلامة العامة وحماية الأرواح.

Amid the Storm… Gaza Electricity Crews Respond to Displaced Residents’ Calls in Khan Younis
In response to residents’ appeals, Gaza electricity crews carried out an urgent field intervention in the Al-Attar and Fish Fresh areas of Khan Younis, removing and relocating damaged electricity poles and networks that posed an imminent threat to civilians and displaced families, particularly amid the ongoing low-pressure weather system.
This intervention comes as part of efforts to safeguard residents and their tents from direct risks caused by the severe damage to the electricity distribution infrastructure due to the ongoing conflict, coupled with a critical shortage of resources.
Technical teams continue to operate under extremely challenging field conditions, striving to mitigate risks, enhance public safety, and protect lives.

تحذّر شركة توزيع كهرباء محافظات غزة المواطنين الكرام من التعامل مع أي جهات أو أشخاص يروّجون لتحويل أو برمجة عدادات الكهرباء بطرق غير قانونية، لما تمثله هذه الممارسات من احتيال وتضليل يضرّ بالمواطن والمصلحة العامة، ويُعيق الجهود الوطنية المبذولة لإعادة خدمة الكهرباء.
وتؤكد الشركة أن العبث بالعدادات أو مكونات الشبكة يُعدّ مخالفة جسيمة تستوجب المساءلة القانونية، ويؤدي إلى تلف العداد وتسجيل قضايا تفتيش واعتداء بحق المتورطين.

بحث تشغيل المرحلة الأولى من محطة التوليد بقدرة 20 ميجاوات

عُقد اجتماع ضمّ شركة توزيع الكهرباء، بحضور المدير العام د.م. محمد طه الأسطل ومدراء الاختصاص في الشركة، إلى جانب ممثلي محطة التوليد وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)، وبمشاركة الممثل الخاص للمدير العام في فلسطين، جاكو سيليرز؛ وذلك لبحث مشروع تشغيل محطة توليد الكهرباء – المرحلة الأولى بقدرة (20 ميجاوات)، واستعراض متطلبات التنفيذ والتحديات المرتبطة به.

وناقش الاجتماع الاحتياجات الفنية واللوجستية اللازمة لإنجاح المشروع، وفي مقدمتها توفير الآليات والمعدات الخاصة بأعمال صيانة وإعادة تأهيل شبكات الكهرباء، إضافة إلى المواد الأساسية، بما يشمل المحولات باعتبارها من المتطلبات الضرورية لاستكمال المرحلة الأولى وضمان جاهزية الشبكة.

وأكد الحضور أن الجهود الحالية تتركز على تنفيذ أعمال التحضير والتأهيل للمشروع، بما يمكّن من بدء التشغيل فور وصول المواد والمعدات اللازمة، مع ضمان جاهزية الأنظمة والبنية التحتية لاستيعاب القدرة الإنتاجية المتوقعة بكاملها عند توفرها.

من جانبها، شددت شركة توزيع الكهرباء على جاهزيتها الكاملة لاستلام الطاقة المنتجة فور تشغيل المحطة وفق الخطة المعتمدة، مشيرةً إلى استكمال الدراسات الفنية الخاصة بالمرحلة الثانية، والتي تستهدف رفع القدرة الإنتاجية من (20 ميجاوات) إلى (40 ميجاوات)، ضمن رؤية متدرجة لتعزيز استقرار الخدمة حال تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى بنجاح.

Meeting Discusses Launch of the First Phase of the Power Plant with a Capacity of 20 MW

A meeting was held bringing together the Electricity Distribution Company, represented by its Director General, Dr. Eng. Mohammed Taha Al-Astal, and department directors, alongside representatives of the Power Plant and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the participation of the Special Representative of the Director General in Palestine, Jaako Seilierz. The meeting focused on discussing the project to operate the first phase of the Power Plant with a capacity of 20 megawatts, reviewing implementation requirements and associated challenges.

Discussions addressed the technical and logistical needs necessary for the project’s success, foremost among them the provision of machinery and equipment required for maintenance and rehabilitation of electricity networks, in addition to essential materials, including transformers, which are considered critical for completing the first phase and ensuring network readiness.

Participants affirmed that current efforts are centered on preparatory and rehabilitation works to enable immediate operation once the required materials and equipment arrive, while ensuring that systems and infrastructure are fully prepared to utilize the expected production capacity.

For its part, the Electricity Distribution Company emphasized its full readiness to receive the generated power upon the plant’s operation in accordance with the approved plan. The company also noted that technical studies for the second phase have been completed, aiming to increase production capacity from 20 MW to 40 MW, within a phased vision to enhance service stability following the successful implementation of the first phase.

زار مدير عام كهرباء غزة، د. محمد طه الأسطل، يرافقه عدد من الزملاء، الزميل عرفة أبو سيف عقب الإفراج عنه من الأسر، حيث كان قد اعتُقل أثناء مساندته للطواقم الفنية في مستشفى كمال عدوان خلال تأدية واجبه المهني.

وأشاد المدير العام بالدور الذي قام به الزميل عرفة، مؤكدًا أنه كان يؤدي عمله في ظروف استثنائية وبروح عالية من المسؤولية، مثمّنًا جهوده وإسهامه في خدمة المرافق الحيوية خلال تلك الفترة.

Between Duty and Sacrifice… Gaza Electricity Honors One of Its Staff Members

The Director General of Gaza Electricity Company, Dr. Mohammed Taha Al-Astal, accompanied by several colleagues, visited staff member Aref Abu Saif following his release from detention. He had been arrested while supporting technical crews at Kamal Adwan Hospital during the performance of his professional duty.

The Director General praised Aref’s role, affirming that he carried out his work under exceptional circumstances and with a high sense of responsibility, commending his efforts and contribution to serving vital facilities during that period.
