Because the truth is — you can’t think your way out of tension.
You can’t overanalyze your way into clarity.
You can’t breathe deeply in your mind.

You have to come back to the body.
To the breath.
To the place where everything you’ve been carrying is actually held.

When your nervous system softens, your mind stops fighting.
When the body feels safe, the answers come on their own.
Not forced. Not hunted. Just revealed.

Step into the practice.
Let the body lead.
Let the mind rest.

“Ribs down”… what does that even mean?

If you’ve been to my classes, you’ve probably heard me say this many times.
A lot of us try to “fix” our posture by opening the chest too much, and the result is an over-arched lower back and flared ribs.

When you bring your ribs down, you’re not crunching your spine.
You’re gently drawing the front of the rib cage back into alignment.
This activates your core and your entire torso, helping you:

• maintain a healthier posture
• protect your lower back
• keep your upper body supported and engaged

So next time you hear “ribs down,” think:
bring the ribs back to center and let the whole body work together.

Let me break it down for you;

If your neck hurts during yoga, it could be due to:

• Shoulder tension
• Weak core
• Misalignment

But don’t worry — here’s a quick fix:

✨ Engage your core
✨ Keep your neck and head neutral (don’t let it drop)
✨ Modify when needed

You don’t have to go for the hardest variation. Listen to your body, choose the option that supports you, and always ask your teacher for alternatives if you’re unsure. Your practice should feel good — not painful. 🙏🏼

Yoga isn’t a quick path to a “snatched” waist.
It’s a lifelong practice — one that teaches you patience, awareness, and the kind of strength that doesn’t fade with time.
