Met meer dan 15 jaar ervaring in oogheelkunde brengt drs. Cora van Dorst niet alleen een schat aan kennis, maar ook een enorme passie voor het verbeteren van oogzorg mee.
Haar carrière begon met de studie Optometrie (BSc) aan de Hogeschool Utrecht, waar ze afstudeerde in 2013. Tijdens haar studie liet ze al een grote betrokkenheid zien door deel te nemen aan nevenactiviteiten, waaronder de cursus “Diabetes and the eye; the bigger picture”.
Haar toewijding aan zorg reikt verder dan de kliniek. Tijdens een humanitaire missie met stichting Zienderogen in Roemenië hielp ze jong en oud met oogmetingen en bracht ze waardevolle ervaring op het gebied van praktische oogzorg op een plek waar het hard nodig was.
Om haar expertise te verdiepen, volgde ze de masteropleiding tot Physician Assistant in Rotterdam. Voor haar onderzoek richtte ze zich op "Het effect van Immediate Sequential Bilateral Cataract Surgery (ISBCS) op de ‘Visueel Functioneren Gerelateerde Gezondheidsbeleving’ bij patiënten met cataract". Dit benadrukt haar inzet om de levenskwaliteit van patiënten te verbeteren door middel van zorg op maat.
Tijdens haar 10 jaar bij Stolmed Oogklinieken in Nederland heeft ze een stevige fundering opgebouwd in het diagnosticeren en behandelen van uiteenlopende oogheelkundige aandoeningen.
Met haar kennis, ervaring en hart voor oogheelkunde zet zij zich volledig in voor de beste zorg en het welzijn van patiënten.

Com mais de 15 anos de experiência em oftalmologia, a Drª Cora van Dorst traz não apenas uma vasta quantidade de conhecimento, mas também uma grande paixão por melhorar os cuidados com a visão.
