Font-Llagunes, para além de professor associado do departamento de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade Politécnica da Catalunha (UCP) é diretor do Biomedical Engineering Lab (BIOMEC), um laboratório onde a investigação se centraliza no estudo do movimento e desenvolvimento de dispositivos robóticos personalizados na ajuda à reabilitação. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗮 has already been in your shoes, waiting to watch WBME. In this 12th WBME, she will not be a spectator, she will be a speaker. Mariana completed the integrated master's degree in Biomedical and Biophysical Engineering from the University of Lisbon in 2019. She carried out the master's thesis project with the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 group at the University of Cambridge. This project focused on the 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆.
