Most clients don’t really know the difference between pigment types 🤍
But sometimes I hear:
“Do you use mineral pigments? I heard they’re the best!”

Here’s the honest truth: there is no such thing as “the best pigment.”
There is only the pigment that works best for your skin.

Mineral pigments are soft, delicate and look extremely natural.
But in the Portuguese climate, they don’t just fade in 9–12 months —
💨 they can completely disappear within 8–10 months.
That’s normal: they’re designed to be light and airy.

Hybrid pigments last longer.
They hold better on oily or dense skin and in areas where mineral pigments fade too fast.
They give cleaner, more even color retention.
