Hot take: If your turnout hurts your knees, it’s not “working.”
It’s compensating.

True turnout comes from the hip socket.
Not torque at the knee.
Not twisting from the foot.

When strength is missing,
the body borrows rotation from somewhere else.
That “somewhere else” will eventually complain.

Build the joint.
