The sickness within the spiritual community. I too have been guilty of it. But in order to experience your full spirituality I believe that you must acknowledge the very real injustice that happens in our “3D world”. Do what you can, but do something, acknowledgement and discussion at the very least.

If you are a spiritual person or business and you’re not discussing BLM and the recent murders of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, I have to ask “why?” Is it because you’re privileged to not have to worry about discussing it? Or is it because you’re scared? (innocent Black People walking down the street scared, or scared of having your privileges taken away if you speak up, scared?)
How has spirituality, tarot, crystals, Spirit (etc) guided you in your life not to be scared? How else has Spirit shown up and given you opportunities to change, manifest, and grow? Do you not see this as that same opportunity? Why is Spirit good enough to help you heal and maintain a good life, but not good enough to be used to do the same for/with others?
Some of you will say “well it makes me too sad,” or “I don’t know what to do to help” - thus not only centering your needs, but also making yourself and your emotions the main focus, taking away focus from Black People being murdered.
By saying “I don’t know how to help” you’re also copping out looking for someone else - GENERALLY BIPOC or BIWOC - to do the work for you, provide resources, provide details, provide examples - and not just examples, but must in fact PROOVE what they’re saying is correct and that it fits your lived experience lens and makes sense to you. If it doesn’t fit your experience, you get to move along without participating because it somehow doesn’t feel real to you, or make sense. This prioritizes and normalizes the “white” experience, and makes any other experience invalid or impossible because most light skinned folks haven’t had to experience these issues. As light skinned people with privileges capable of turning things around for the people without privilege, we have a huge responsibility to do this work.
This is a spiritual issue.
