This version of the MBSR – Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program has been thoughtfully adapted for parents, recognizing the unique challenges and emotional demands of raising children. Parenting often involves continuous multitasking, emotional intensity, and little time for self-care. In this adaptation, sessions are explored within the context of family life, bringing awareness, patience, and compassion to everyday interactions with children. The program supports parents in cultivating presence amid the busyness of daily routines, responding rather than reacting to challenges, and fostering a nurturing environment grounded in balance, empathy, and connection.

In this day we unite in Pure Yin practice, and for these returning moments we share a sacred space in which we find ourselves recharged, rewired and relaxed again.

Here we dive deep under the skin and notice how unique we are with each experience. And at the same time how much we hold the same human needs. Find yourselves in a wholesome place. From here we are aware of different perspectives to trust and connect.

This masterclass is designed to provide a long Yin practice with Myofascial release. It is a practice that feels like a self massage, always tailored to the needs of practitioners.

O programa da Breathworks foi criado pela co-fundadora da Breathworks, Vidyamala Burch, fruto de 30 anos de aplicação de mindfulness e compaixão na sua própria experiência de dor crónica.

Durante este curso de 8 semanas, iremos progressivamente aprender um conjunto de ferramentas e estratégias baseadas em mindfulness e compaixão, construindo gradualmente uma enriquecedora consciência de nós mesmos, bem como do nosso relacionamento com os outros, permitindo-nos assim levar uma vida mais criativa e compassiva, mesmo na experiência de dor, doença ou stress.

Estudos clínicos mostraram que mindfulness pode melhorar os sistemas de cura natural do corpo, reduzindo a dor crónica, a ansiedade, a depressão, a irritabilidade, a exaustão e a insónia.

Neste curso iremos aprender
• A melhor gerir a sua dor (física ou emocional), doença, fadiga e/ou stress.
• Como respirar no momento presente criando assim mais escolha.
• A tomar consciência da respiração e do corpo, a reconhecer padrões de pensamento e a melhor gerir emoções difíceis.
• Movimentos suaves de relaxamento baseados em mindfulness.
• Meditação mindfulness, incluindo o cultivo de auto compaixão e empatia para com os outros.
• A tomar consciência de comportamentos padrão prejudiciais e a tendência de os repetir, levando a mais dor e sofrimento.

Mindfulness vai ajudá-lo a fazer escolhas e a modificar estes padrões indo ao encontro de um caminho mais atento, mais conectado e mais saudável.
