Kinesiology is a holistic therapy that study the body movement and aims to restore its balance. It combines the principles of traditional Chinese Medicine with Western techniques and uses gentle muscle tests to monitor information about a person’s well-being. It balances the whole person, rather than treating symptoms or diseases. The muscles are used to monitor stress and imbalances within the body/mind and become an effective tool to detect and correct blockages relating to stress, nutrition, injuries, energies, learning problems. Once the stress has been explored, the most effective method of releasing the issue and bringing the body back into balance is identified. There are a variety of techniques that can be used to restore balance. It can give you feedback via monitoring muscle responses, such as which foods strengthen or weaken you, what you need to do to build confidence and heal your life; how to increase your vitality and have physical, emotional, chemical and energetic balance in your life. Profound changes to physical, emotional or mental health can often be experienced after just one session, however, it is recommended to have a series of sessions so that you have time to adjust to the changes being made and to support your body/mind/spirit to be at its optimal self. I have completed Cert. IV at Byron Kinesiology Center and am currently studying Diploma units. Kinesiology has helped me to release stress, find clarity, uncover old patterns, increase my life energy, achieve goals, found out which foods make my body strong, which I need to eliminate, what supplements support my diet, which emotions are behind an injury and the list goes on really...

There is a guest toilet just for the clients and lots of peace. I have a question for you: do you feel safe coming out of your shell?

I know… it depends on the environment, where you are, who is around…

I just gave a session to a lovely lady that is learning to come out of her shell. Anne has adopted from her father at age 3, that the world was unsafe so she kept protecting herself until adulthood, just because her whole body would retract in the presence of other humans.

I think we can all relate to this at times. A am very glad that Anne has the courage to face these patterns and is working on them via kinesiology with me. I am excited to witness her transformation into freedom and an open heart. This is really exciting!

If you are reading this, I invite you to explore opening and stretching a bit more outside your comfort zone. Staying curious about the experience of what you encounter. Stay present in your body and listen to your inner guidance at the same time you are exploring the outside world.

I am so excited to announce that I am moving to Algarve in January! I will be in the country, but only 15 min from Lagos. Today’s client’s goal was:
“I speak and act in a way that enhances my power.”

Assertiveness is not about being aggressive — it’s about being clear, respectful, and grounded in your truth.
It’s how we express who we are without shrinking or overpowering others.

Many of us struggle with this because we didn’t have a healthy father or male role model growing up — someone to show us how to set boundaries with confidence and calm. Without that guidance, we might find ourselves people-pleasing, staying silent, or overreacting when our limits are crossed.

Reflect on these areas of your life:
• How easily do you say *no*?
• Do you express your needs clearly — or hope others will guess them?
• When someone disrespects your boundary, do you speak up or withdraw?
• Do you communicate from fear or from inner calm?
• Are your actions aligned with your words?

Every time you stand in your truth with kindness and strength, you enhance your personal power. 🌿

Adoro acampar! Estou na Serra da Estrela a carregar baterias neste início de Outono. Acho muito importante PAUSAR de vez em quando. A minha vida está cheia de responsabilidades, tendo 5 ocupações (kinesiologista, terapeuta de vidas passadas, joalheira, facilitadora de grupos e anfitriã de Airbnb) … sinto a necessidade de me banhar na natureza, ouvir o silêncio e ter tempo para andar devagar. Aos 55anos, finalmente aprendi o valor de pausar. E’ aqui que novas ideias surgem, e’ aqui que o corpo relaxa, e’ aqui que ouvimos melhor a nossa intuição.

Estava eu a falar ao telefone no programa da sic e quando disse algumas verdades eles não me deram mais tempo… grata por poder expor aqui a minha experiência com a Zé Luís Cardoso. Foi traumático mas o que vale é’ que tenho ferramentas para lidar com isto.

A verdade tem de ser exposta. As mulheres têm de se unir…

Aqui partilho sobre uma sessão de kinesiologia com uma senhora que tem problemas na bexiga ha muitos anos. Ela já foi a vários médicos, tomou antibióticos e fez vários tratamentos mas nada resolveu a causa do problema. Eu acredito que depois desta sessão, ela vai encontrar mais conforto e paz.
