Over two intensive days, Unipartner held an AI Hackathon with SRFPAP – Regional Secretariat for Finance, Planning, and Public Administration (Governo dos Açores), focused on the creation of AI Agents using Copilot Agent Builder, supported by Microsoft. 💡

The session guided participants through the full journey — from ideation to development — exploring how AI agents can be rapidly designed to address real business and public sector challenges. This provided a understanding of how AI can be applied pragmatically to solve concrete challenges, reduce time to value, and drive measurable impact through outcome driven collaboration.

Throughout the hackathon, participants got the opportunity to explore practical use cases for AI agents in real world business and public sector scenarios, creating intelligent agents that support decision making and interact naturally within the Microsoft ecosystem. The sessions also showcased Unipartner success stories, including an AI powered Smart Document Processing solution that automates document and email ingestion, classification, and information extraction, replacing manual tasks with intelligent, unattended workflows and enabling greater efficiency, accuracy, and control over document driven processes.

Unipartner’s Senior Data & AI Consultant Paulo Pereira delivered a session on Agentic Intelligence Automation, following an invitation from Céu Mendonça (Global Partner Solutions Director at Microsoft). The session was presented to students from the Post Graduation in Artificial Intelligence for Management at ISCTE Executive Education, a long-standing academic partner. 💡

Through a practical and applied approach, the session showcased Unipartner’s delivery models, demonstrating how intelligent automation and agentic AI can address real business challenges. As part of our commitment to knowledge sharing and talent development, Unipartner’s Data & AI Consultant Claudio Silva Ferreira, hosted the “Advanced DAX for Data Analysts” workshop at ISCTE Business School, offering Master’s in Business Analytics students and the wider Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa community the opportunity to deepen their Power BI and data analytics skills. 💡

This session provided students with practical insights grounded in our real world experience delivering analytics and business intelligence solutions. Moreover, students also got the chance to explore advanced Power BI topics such as data transformation with Power Query, time intelligence, efficient data modelling, advanced DAX metrics, performance optimization, security concepts, and key Power BI Service features.

Through hands on examples, we showcased how strong data models, optimized DAX calculations, and thoughtful report design can turn data into impactful, business driven insights while helping avoid common implementation pitfalls.

This framework provides a trusted, fully compliant procurement route for public sector Contracting Authorities across the UK. Being selected means that Unipartner is now part of an exclusive supplier shortlist, enabling organizations to directly and efficiently access our CRM expertise through YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation) and NEPO (The Association of North East Councils).
