📊 Over one-third of resident in Portugal would not choose Medicine again, according to a study by the Portuguese Medical Council (Ordem dos Médicos), about 24.7% experience severe , three times higher than other doctors. Additionally, 35.5% sought psychological or psychiatric support during their residency; most work 52 hours weekly.

🏆📢 Last Friday, INOVA+ distinguished the excellence of innovation carried out in Portugal, with the presentation of the INOVA+ 2024 Awards. SurgeonMate won 1st place in Business Innovation.

💡This award is an important milestone for us, validates all the dedication of an extraordinary team and arrives at a crucial phase of R&D, where we are deeply involved in an European project, ClinicalModelling, validating the methodologies SurgeonMate has defended from the beginning, in collaboration with higher education institutions and hospitals in four countries as part of the Erasmus+ program.

From the 14th to 19th of October, the future of healthcare education landed in Santiago de Compostela and Porto for Clinical Modelling Capacitation Sessions. These sessions were part of the , with over 40 professors, surgeons, scrub nurses, and IT specialists 📰👏

This initiative introduced innovative methodologies like video-modelling and self-modelling to enhance professional in healthcare. We believe in reshaping medical education through cutting-edge approaches, empowering healthcare professionals to develop their skills efficiently and continuously. These methodologies drive excellence and ensure surgeons and nurses can adapt to the ever-evolving medical landscape.👌
