Senior Hairstylist
Provide beauty services, such as shampooing, cutting, coloring, and styling hair, and massaging and treating scalp. May also apply makeup, dress wigs & other services such as nails and nail design. Will need to manage other hair stylists and to ensure their work is done right and efficiently. She must be passionate about hair fashion updated with latest hair trends.
Career Level: Mid career
Years of experience: 5+ Years
Degree: Minimum Diploma
Will be in charge of:
- creating new hair dos and hair styles for customers.
- Keeping up with the latest hair trends and colors.
- Advising customers on the best products to care for hair at home
-Supervising other hairstylists and ensuring they are working efficiently.
- Welcoming guests and assigning hair stylists to their tasks.
Skills:
Degree or A high school diploma in Cosmetology; or A Certificate in hairdressing or a related course.
A license from a state‐licensed cosmetology or barber school would be an advantage.
· The ability to work under pressure, without supervision, has good organizational and communication skills and good business English.
· Should be able to liaise with all types of customers, listening to their wants and delivering them through helpful consultations that educate and inform the clients of your intentions thus generating maximum income with client satisfaction.
· Styling cut and colouring skills.
· Courteous; welcoming to guests, friendliness and a helpful attitude.
· Well‐presented with a Pleasant personality with good sense of humor.
· Good health without any skin allergies
· Good hand‐eye coordination
· Passionate with some creative flair with attention to detail
· Customer focus; with smart outward appearance and cheerful attitude.
· Have the love for dealing with clients without being irritable.
· Ability to use a computer
