Acne
Acne is one of the most widespread and psychologically distressing chronic (persistent) skin conditions that exists. Acne has several stages, each distinguished by the type of spots that you are suffering with. This may include common spots such as whiteheads and blackheads, or more severe spots such as cysts and nodules.
The disease is caused by a sensitivity to androgen hormones. Specifically, it is sensitivity to the hormone derivative of testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, known as DHT - that triggers the condition.
