Prawns 🍤 Pulav
Easy and satiating meal🤩
1/4 kg Prawns 🍤
1 cup Basamati Rice
1 big onion 🧅 thinly sliced
1 medium size tomato 🍅
1 spoon ginger garlic paste
2 green chilies 🌶
1 tsp caraway seeds
1 bay leaf
1 black cardamom
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 tbsp fish Biryani masala or any other fish curry masala
Konkam juice if available.
Few mint leaves
And a handful of coriander
Clean and marinate prawns in salt, turmeric and lemon Juice. Heat oil in a pot add all whole masalas(caraway seeds, black cardamom, bay leaf, Cinnamon stick) add green chilies, thinly sliced onions sauté till translucent add ginger garlic paste after a minute add chopped tomatoes and sauté the mixture for few minutes till raw smell goes off. Add masala and then prawns and Sauté and then cover and cook for couple of minutes till raw smell of prawns goes away. Add washed and soaked rice to this and give it a stir. Adjust salt and spice as per the taste. Add kokum juice if available. Add few mint leaves and some chopped coriander and add hot water, double of rice quantity or as per requirement. Cover it and cook for 15 mins by continuously stirring in between. Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
And your prawns pulav is ready to attack. Aroma while cooking does the trick😇
