Complex trauma disrupts more than just our emotions—it affects our nervous system, making it more difficult to feel safe and at peace.

Self-regulation is the ability to manage stress and emotions, allowing our parasympathetic nervous systems to come online. But when unresolved trauma patterns are involved, this kind of regulation can feel out of reach.
