Becoming a therapist has to do a lot with personal growth. I would not be the professional that I am today without adressing what hurts me most. On this page I will be writting bits about my personal journey, but also about what got me inspired from my work with clients. I hope this page will be a bridge that will allow me to connect with you all. I like to think about self-care as something essential for growth and fulfilment, the same way I think about onions being absolutely necessary in the kitchen because of their rich flavor they add to cooked dishes. Sweet onion is a journey, you need to peel it, cut it, chop it, cook it, cry it.

THE WONDERFUL GUILT OF FREEDOM

Step into the vastness
of your freedom and your truth
and you may feel
guilty.

You’re leaving others behind.
You’re disappointing loved ones.
You don’t have the right to your joy.
You’re selfish and greedy and narcissistic.

Who the hell do you think you are?
To speak your truth?
To live your passion?
To walk your path?
To look after your heart?

But turn from your freedom,
refuse this call to adventure,
try to silence the soul,
and bitterness and resentment
may eat you up from the inside.

So what will it be, friend?

Freedom and aliveness
(with maybe some guilt
and fear to feel in your belly)?

Or stagnation and a life left unlived
(with rage and resentment
eating up your soul)?

Well...

It may come to the point
where there is no longer
any choice.
