We are thrilled to announce the representation of Vlad Nancǎ.

With a sustained interest in architecture and the transformation of the built environment, Nancă revisits 20th-century modernism to imagine possible futures in response to contemporary conditions. His sculptures, installations, and wall-based mixed-media works frequently draw on archival material and references from art and architectural history, engaging with themes such as modernist architecture and modernity, the space race, (failed) utopias, and speculative narratives about future modes of living.

Gaep presented a work by Vlad Nancă in the group exhibition Memories and Prophecies (November 2025 – January 2026), where he participated as an invited artist. His first solo show with the gallery will open on April 24, 2026.

Several works by Sebastian Moldovan are on view in the inaugural exhibition of the Taichung Art Museum in Taiwan.

The exhibition ‘A Call of All Beings: See you tomorrow, same time, same place’ – curated by the museum team together with three other curators, including Anca Mihuleț-Kim – looks at the relationship between human and non-human. Sebastian Moldovan presents a series of artist’s books, sculptures and objects that investigate the transformations of the contemporary landscape, continuing his preoccupations with the ecology of the everyday and the relationship between nature and the built space.

Designed by the Japanese SANAA office, the new Taichung Green Museumbrary integrates a metropolitan art museum and Taichung’s central library.

“My paintings act as a mediator between two opposing entities: the systematic and logical approach inherent to man-made structures, on the one hand, and external forces that are not governed by reason, on the other.” – Cătălin Pîslaru

The title of the works featured here, ‘Clouding’, was inspired by an everyday scene where a mundane form of this tension exists: you lie on the grass in the park, see clouds forming or moving on the sky, and the mind steps in, making associations between the shapes of the clouds and other things from the surrounding world.

Plan a visit to see them in the group exhibition Memories and Prophecies.

Featured artworks: Cătălin Pîslaru, Clouding #6 and Clouding #7, 2025, oil on alu dibond, 58.5 x 50.5 cm each

“Since 1971, Tania Mouraud has regularly traveled to India. From 2008 to 2010, she photographed rubber plantations in the state of Kerala, focusing on the iridescent aspect of the plastic that covers the coconut shells used for collecting rubber sap. Devoid of any sense of scale, the photographs in the ‘Rubato’ series invite the viewer on a mysterious plunge into the heart of matter, magnifying the alchemy that takes place on the surface of plastics.” — Camille Lenglois in the catalogue Tania Mouraud, published by Centre Pompidou-Metz, 2015

A triptych from the series 'Rubato' is on view till the end of the week, in the group exhibition Memories and Prophecies.

Featured artwork: Tania Mouraud, Rubato 034R/10125b/036R, 2010-13, pigment ink on Fine Art paper, 3 works: 104.1 x 60 x 4.5 cm / 104.1 x 70.6 x 4.5 cm / 104.1 x 60 x 4.5 cm, edition: 2/3 + 2 AP

Roberta Curcă’s colorful ‘Notes Extended’ take inspiration from the vernacular forms of Romanian modernist architecture, which often incorporated remnants of industrial production, car parts, metal tools, and even bullet casings into everyday structures such as window frames, fences, and gates.

Additionally, various elements in this series of drawings reference Godspeed You! Black Emperor, a Canadian post-rock collective that the artist credits for instilling an activist ethos into her since high-school.

Come by the gallery to discover more.

Featured artworks: Roberta Curcă, Notes Extended – Rocket fall on Rocket Falls, 2025, graphite, coloured pencils and ink on paper, 42 x 29.7 cm; Notes Extended – A world that knows everything and chooses to forget, 2025, coloured pencils and ink on paper, 42 x 29.7 cm; Notes Extended – A sky full of drones, 2025, coloured pencils and ink on paper, 42 x 29.7 cm

On view through the end of the month, in the group exhibition Memories and Prophecies.
