This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts is February 20, 2024, at 11:59 PM GMT+2. Don't miss the chance to showcase your expertise in our Scientific Competition.

You can submit research articles or case presentations related to neurosurgery via your account on online.medevents.ro.

Your abstract will be reviewed by our Committee Professors and if your paper is accepted, you will have the opportunity to present in front of neurosurgical professionals from around the world. During the Masterclass, you can present your work as a case presentation to hundreds of students and win some of the special prizes.

Dear Neurosurgical Masterclass enthusiasts, while we are preparing the next edition of our course for you all, we would like to take a moment to promote the biggest neurosurgical event happening here in Cluj, this September, the WFNS Symposium.

The symposium aims at presenting and bringing together both the advanced therapeutic methods and the conjunctural ones employed in less-favored areas in terms of technical and medical endowment. We will all have a chance to meet and learn from some of the greatest neurosurgeons across all continents and share in our experiences.

Common or divergent points of view originating from the many specialties involved in treating these complex cases are welcome. All emergency specialists and intensivists, neurosurgeons and neurologists, neurorehabilitation specialists and neuroradiologists are invited to be part of the dialogue and exchange ideas in the hope of reaching a consensus on the multiple problems of stroke management.

Hoping to organize an all-embracing international forum both geographically and across-specialty connected, the Cluj Medical School welcomes you to Cluj-Napoca. Bearing a tradition of over 250 years, our medical school opens its doors to address colleagues from around the world with a warm invitation to discuss and possibly offer treatment solutions adapted to local conditions, but especially according to the expectations of our patients.

You will also be able to attend a pre-symposium course consisting of a Live Surgery for MoyaMoya disease by Prof Bin Xu, an Endovascular workshop, and a virtual reality-based neuroanatomy session. Participants will be provided a different experience to that of the previous courses. In addition, with the aid of developing technology, virtual-dissection opportunity will be offered with 3D modeling of cadavers with virtual reality and/or augmented reality.

In this course, you will learn the white matter pathways of the brain on real cadavers with VR technology, 3D reconstructions and observe the arterial anatomy of the brain on VR basis.

The Neurosurgical Masterclass has always been a congress for the students, and until our next edition, this course is the best chance for students to be in involved in a Symposium of this scale and it represents an opportunity that should not be missed.
