The problem with feedback? There will always be someone with a different opinion—no matter how good your work is.

Here’s how to make feedback actually useful:

1. Choose the right people;
Keep your feedback circle small. Make sure they’re true experts in the field — not just people with opinions.

2. Choose the right timing;
Ask early enough to avoid wasted effort, but not so early that it kills your momentum or confidence.

3. Know when to stop listening;
At some point, you’ve heard enough. Trust your judgment, follow your gut, and move forward.
