Birthing Innocence - antenatal and postnatal advice

Birthing Innocence - antenatal and postnatal advice Peace of mind for mums and dads
(www.birthing-innocence.com) The first thing that people ask is how to pronounce my Irish name: ‘Eee-fa’.

I have been a qualified General Nurse since 1999 and subsequently qualified as a Midwife in 2004. I started my profession in Ireland but moved to Saudi Arabia in April 2006. Here I began working in the Obstetrics and Gynecology ward at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital. Initially I started as a staff nurse and then was promoted to a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. During my time in Jeddah I have also lectured in Midwifery and General Nursing at Dar Al Hekma College, presented at an International Nursing Conference and briefly worked for the Saudi Royal Family. Most importantly though is that I met my husband Tim here and together we have three beautiful children, Connor, Ella and Keenan. Midwifery is my passion. It is a truly humbling experience, and a great honour, when families ask me for guidance during and after their pregnancy, to help them bring a new life into the world. Parenthood can be quite daunting but as I mother of three myself, I know that a little reassurance can go a long way. This is why I hope that Birthing Innocence™ will continue to be of benefit to couples around the world.

Apologies if anyone has posted any comments on the site the last week that have not appeared. Unfortunately the site was receving 50-100 spam emails per hour which became a little annoying. Hopefully the new spam filter will do its thing and normal service is resumed. Thank you for your understanding.

Just wanted to let you all know that my parents have now flown home *sniff* *sniff* but at least that means I back in full swing ; fully available again to provide antenatal and postnatal advice.

Most importantly, thank you to all my current clients for being very patient over the holidays. I look forward to the next time we meet.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all those people who have written testimonials for my website, as well as those people who have ‘liked’ the Birthing Innocence page – it really means a lot. x

I also want to say thank you to everyone’s help, as none of what you see either here or on www.birthing-innocence.com would be possible. The latest thanks goes to Andy Belfield again for setting up the info@birthing-innocence.com email account! W

Well it has been exactly a week since we started to develop the website and I would just like to express my gratitude to a few people.

Wow. Over 100 likes in less than 48 hours. You are all fantastic; your support has given Birthing Innocence such a great start. Thank you.

Well it has been just under two weeks since we started to develop the website. I am currently working on a large amount of content which will soon be uploaded. I also have my business cards, pamphlets and posters in their initial design phase. For now, I would just like to express my gratitude to a few people.

My husband Tim who has been uploading information to the site; Rex Geissler who has given some invaluable advice with regards to its aesthetic qualities in particular the logo design; and to my dear brother-in-law (to whom I give the most thanks) Andrew Belfield who has simply been amazing with getting the domain name, setting up the remote access, putting together the core elements of the site and just generally being a true website wizard – thank you Andy!

Over the coming weeks, the final pieces of content will be added so that we can go truly ‘live’. Thank you everyone for your support and… keep watching this space!
