The holy month of Ramazan came to a close and today we celebrate Eid ul Fitr . I wish all of you a joyous Eid with prayers for health and happiness for your families .
Let us not forget today that many of our brothers and sisters are living in camps as IDDP's and many Muslim brothers and sisters are being shelled even on Eid day. Let us remember them in our prayers .

Assalam-o-Alekum,
It is a matter of satisfaction that a free medical camp was held on Saturday 26 April 2014 with cooperation from the Consulate , Deputy director Haj Medina and the Pakistan welfare society Jeddah.
The medical camp was well attended with over 250 people treated in various disciplines covered by our volunteer Doctors of the FORUM.

DR QASIM..............................General Surgeon
DR SAIMA SHAKEEL.............Gynaecologist
DR. HINA AMBREEN.............Diabetologist
In addition a large number of patients were screened for diabetes.
The community shared with donations and service. The list of community participants includes.

The spirit of service is still strong as witnessed.

Dear All
Assalam o Alekum,

Recently one of our colleagues was affected by litigation in a medical malpractice

situation . He was asked to pay a large sum of money to the litigant. The amount

was indeed large for one persons ability to pay.

The PMMF also swung into action along with the community .

I am happy to announce that by the Grace of Allah ,THE ALMIGHTY the problem has been overcome and our colleague and his family can go back to normalcy.

Two things have emerged from this episode.

1 .The PMMF/PDGM has shown itself to be effective and caring for its members.
May Allah give further strength to its members and may it become more effective.

2. The need to keep malpractice insurance uptodate.
