BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF PROFESSOR ISAH ALI IBRAHIM PANTAMI professor Isah Ali Ibrahim pantami was born on 20th October, 1972 in pantami district of Gombe state. His father's name is Alh Ali Ibrahim pantami and his mother was Hajiya Amina Umar fulani by tribe. He started his education on hand of his parents and attended traditional school (Tsangaya school) for memorizing the Holy Quran. He spent more than four years in the school. He completed his primary and secondary education in Gombe state with excellent results, after which he acquire more advanced religious knowledge before moving to federal university of technology known as Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Bauchi(ATBU)Bauchi.In 2001 he obtained his first degree of BTech in computer science, Mac in computer science (2008),MBA Technology management, all from the same university. He also obtained his Ph.D in computer information systems from the famous and prestigious Robert Gardon university of Scotland, United Kingdom. He also obtained a post graduate certificate on research methods and another on teaching and demostration in the United Kingdom. He served as a director general of the National Information Development Agency (NITDA) of Nigeria from 26th September, 2016 to 20th August 2019 before he was nominated as minister and sworn into office on 21st August 2019. Pantami was served as a lecture at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa university ATBU in information technology before joining the Islamic university of Medina at a new faculty of computing and and information systems as Head of technical writing. He lectured at ATBU Bauchi where he taught courses like multimedia, software engineering, hard ware technology, software technology, management information systems, geographic information systems and others, in addition held several positioni in the faculty.
