Appreciation post for this really, really awesome dude I get to work with & call a friend ~ our dearest Nickey jaan 🤍🌿

Nickey is very intuitive & offers beautiful readings that leave you feeling empowered & encouraged. He meets you right where you are, honest & without filter, coming from a place of love always.

He is a master space holder, light worker, a seasoned seeker & the most beautiful soul you’ll meet.

Śavāsana, or the Co**se pose is the final pose after your asana practice.

“Lying upon one’s back on the ground at full length like a co**se is called Śavāsana. This removes the fatigue caused by the other asanas and induces calmness of the mind”

- Hatha Yoga Pradipikā

This asana is the only pose that requires no effort.

The purpose here is to imitate a co**se, the body remains still and there are no movements. By remaining motionless & still while you are fully conscious, you learn to relax.

Savasana is said to be harder than advanced postures because it is much harder to keep the mind still than it is the body.

BKS Iyengar prescribes Śavāsana for:

• fatigue
• anxiety & stress
• illness & recovery
• emotional imbalance

Practical tip:

If you are feeling tense, burnt out or wired during the day at work or at home, take a Śavāsana on the floor for 10 minutes.

• soften your face
• scan your whole body and notice the tense parts
• consciously disengage your muscles and relax

It’s a reset button.
