This pic came up for me over the weekend. A yoga teacher training that begin my love affair with Chinese medicine since 2018. The tracing of the meridians or channels awoken something very deep and primal in me that made me jump into rabbit hole of learning and begun this 4 year journey in my Doctoral program of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. I was very lucky to have made many friends along the way is one of the very special one who has a spirit of a unbridled horse and show me that anything is possible. Miss you my dear friend.

Someone twisted their ankle, made a poultice with ginger as based, sprinkle some cayenne and cinnamon to make this simple sprain poultice. I remember this is something my mom did for me when I was little.

2 hours after application, easier on the feet. Able to put weight on that ankle.

I could also put honghua/ safflower but I don't readily have that in my apothecary.

There is no better reason to celebrate then to celebrate for no good reason. A good time a great crowd and amazing food. For an adult party even my kids said they had a great time. They were super helpful staking up the lights and cleaning up before the party. I am truly blessed to have friends and kids who are always supportive when you don't even think you need support. Love y'all. Shout out to .zulueta for being a wonderful buddy and helped pull me through this term. Thank you.❤️ 🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🤎🖤 🌈
