Recharging the batteries before a deeply meaningful and beautifully busy 2026 🎿

Nothing grounds me more than returning to nature 🏔️ back to space, back to headspace, back to connection.

These pauses matter.
They help us listen, realign, and lead from a fuller place.

Here’s to slowing down to go further.

As the year draws to a close, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the many spaces of growth, reflection, and creation that unfolded this year.

From coaching and coaching supervision conversations, rich with trust, courage, and transformation, to scientific and industry talks, lectures and learning spaces, and to creative endeavours where music, performance, and storytelling became vehicles for meaning, each experience reminded me of the power of presence, curiosity, and purpose.

Thank you to my global community of coachees, supervisees, students, creative collaborators, and colleagues for the openness and humanity you brought into these shared journeys.

Coaching, like creativity, thrives in relationship, and I’m grateful for every one of them.

As we move into the quieter weeks ahead, I hope you find time to pause, recharge, and reconnect with what matters most.

Warm wishes for the Holiday Season and every success in the New Year ahead.

PS: that is NOT an AI generated photo, but an actual one I had taken 🙂

✨ Calling all coaches and coaches in training ✨

Many of you know my work as an executive coach and business & positive psychologist is about helping leaders and organisations grow with purpose. As part of my continued dedication to strengthening our profession, I’m now also focusing on supporting coaches themselves through supervision.

I’m really excited to share that I’m currently working towards my EMCC- and ICF-accredited Coaching Supervision credential. As part of this journey, I’m opening up five “pay as you wish” supervision slots — and I’m also offering two pro bono places for those in real need of supervision support right now.

Why might you want to work with me?

1️⃣ Your hours count – The time you spend in supervision with me is fully recognised by ICF, EMCC, and AoC towards your CPD and credentialing. So you’re growing your practice while ticking the right boxes for your professional journey.

2️⃣ I already supervise – I’ve been supporting coaches and coaching conversation practitioners for a while now, helping them to reflect, grow, and bring more depth into their practice.

3️⃣ I’m a coach too – As a seasoned coach, I know how important it is to have a space that’s not just about learning new tools, but about form, norm, and restore (to borrow Hawkins’ words). A space where you can recharge, think out loud, and leave feeling resourced.

4️⃣ We can work in your language – Whether you feel most at home in English, French, Spanish, or Chinese, I can offer supervision in the language that best supports you.

🌿 And if you’re wondering why supervision matters: professional bodies like EMCC, ICF, and AoC all recognise it as an essential part of our profession. It’s about reflective practice, ethical assurance, accountability, and having a safe space to keep learning and growing — so we can serve our clients at our very best.

For me, supervision isn’t just a requirement. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and grow as a coach — to make sure you’re supported while you support others.

📩 If this sounds like something you’d like to explore, just drop me a message here on Facebook or email me at work@sokhotrinh.

🌟 Two pro bono places are available for those in real need of supervision support.

🎤 I’m honoured to be co-leading the Work & Wellbeing: Good Work Conference at University of Roehampton with the brilliant Dr Markieta Domecka.

Markieta is a leading sociologist of work and employment and Senior Lecturer at Roehampton Business School. Her research explores employment, unpaid labour, precarity and inequality — through the vital lens of class, gender, and ethnicity.

She’s widely published in top journals like Human Relations and Work, Employment and Society, and recently co-authored The Politics of Unpaid Labour (Oxford University Press), spotlighting how invisible work shapes inequality today.

Markieta will also be one of our featured panellists on the day, offering grounded insight into what “Good Work” really means.

What makes this collaboration so meaningful is that we both deeply care about creating spaces where research, practice, and purpose come together to do good in the world.
