For almost three years I was not able to re-build my body strong after a year of exhaustion, more or less staying in bed for a year.
Before my exhaustion, I had never thought about what it should feel like not being strong, or not giving myself the practice I needed every day. Because I had been practicing a lot since a very young age - dancing, spinning, aerobics, gym and for the last 20+ years yoga.
Coming back from [after exhaustion and menopause issues] has been the hardest challenge I’ve personally met in my life. First, the year staying in bed. After that, just rolling out my yoga mat to do a pose or two, needed encouragement. TG for Yin yoga that I successively could increase in time and “intensity” without the expense of my energy.
2023, moving up to the North of Sweden to live close to nature and have a slower pace in life, was part of the solution for healing the deeper emotional layers that were hurt, and also heal my nervous system.
From that point on I could take a little longer walks, ride with my bicycle and even start to do some strengthening exercises.
But gosh it was hard! Even though I didn't do more than a tenth of the strengthening practice that I had done before my exhaustion, I sometimes drained myself completely with only one strengthening exercise, and had to rest for a whole day after.
So I really investigated what worked and what didn’t. And the last year - wow - I can really feel how my energy is fully back and my body is strong again!
This is how I came up with creating LUSH - the way to energy and balance!
