Just arriving back home fulfilled and greatful for the days spent deepening our studies in the field of biodynamic osteopathy, we felt the impulse to share some of our reflections.
During Phase Four of biodynamic osteopathy, something essential shifted.
Not toward doing more but toward listening more deeply. The focus moved away from techniques, rhythms, and corrections,
and toward relationship with the Midline and Dynamic Stillness.
The Midline is not an anatomical structure but an organizing principle, the place where wholeness is oriented and healing intelligence resides.
Resting here gave the experience of a perceptual shift. Effort softened. Will receded.
We learned that healing in this field is not something we impose, it is already inherent in the system and unfolds through transmutation. A truely humbling insight.
Phase Four asked something both simpler and more demanding:
Less doing, deeper presence.
Less technique, more trust.
Less identity, more coherence.
Osteopathy as service.
Osteopathy as relationship.
Osteopathy as listening to what already knows the way.
We feel grateful for our eminent teacher, superb assistants and our lovely osteopathic family.
